    These earrings are absolutely gorgeous but simply too heavy. Because they were so gorgeous and I have had my ears pierced for over 40 years, I decided to try them anyway. Within two hours I realize my left ear was bleeding and my right ear was extremely irritated. If these were, maybe 1 to 1 1/4 inch instead of 2 inches, they might work. They're so beautiful, I'd be willing to give it a try if they had them in a smaller size but can't recommend them as a 2 inch hoop.
