Couldve been great but....
I bought this item because i gave a similar version to my wife and she loves it. Mine had a dial underneath to tighten somewhat the fit in the CD opening. It not only doesn't sufficiently tighten the unit but the knob to do so blocks my already limited view of the radio. The angle that it allows mt to place my phone doesn't give me a good angle to view the phone. It isn't as good as the one i already owned.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Much better than the vent holders of old
Finally a use for the CD slot in car audio! For those of you (like me ) with 6-CD changers still in your car, I'm sorry (6 X useless = still useless). If you rock to audio books, don't get this. This little puppy is 6X sturdier that the vent holders I'm used to using.
