Its opening hours vary greatly from month to month, but it is normally open every Thursday from 9am to 8pm. It is highly recommended to check the official website (only in Catalan).

The Mercat Gòtic is a popular attraction for locals and tourists who like to bargain for a little souvenir. Among the 28 exhibitors, there are some antique shops and specialised stands such as the one for old cameras. There are old books and newspapers, postcards, silverware, antique jewellery, clocks and watches, toys, dolls, old records, collectibles and vintages. Of course it has nothing to do with the Encants market , but it is a small distraction on your way through this historic district of Barcelona.

A must-see market in front of Barcelona Cathedral. Of course, it's a bit touristy, but as always, if you look hard enough you'll find some pretty good stuff... in short, it's worth stopping for 5 minutes.
