Depending on size, I'd say about 3 adults.

2 comfortable but 3 can also without being too crowded. Its a lot bigger then I thought it would be.

The side and rear panels of the Ozark Trail 8' x 6' Sun Shelter are mesh. This is an excellent shade shelter.

The top is solid tent material, the sides are mesh. It allows a breeze to blow through the tent,, but provides needed shade.

It's not exactly "easy" to put up, but definitely easy to collapse. Once you put it up once, it becomes more clear how to assemble. The directions were not very helpful, honestly just looking at the picture was the most helpful thing for us.

Yes. The pole/rods has elastic inside that as soon as you put it on the ring anchor it will stand right away and drop easy when you remove two side off the ring anchor.

Yes, but be sure to set up at home to get used to the steps it takes. Really easy once you've done it, but it does take 2 people at the beach.

It is easy to put up and take down if you are familiar with pitching a tent. If not the directions are pretty clear, but you might want to practice once prior to taking it outside.

I say yes it is easy once you get the sleeves and poles correctly laid out.

Overall, yes. It&#39;s completely doable with a single adult when there is little to no wind. We put it up and took it down several times as a 2-man team with 15-20 mph with very little difficulty.

It was a little tricky to setup the first time. If you follow directions it all comes together. I would recommend practicing setup before heading out to the beach. Otherwise it is well constructed and fits easily in its little carry case, which could even be smaller. No problem with getting it to fit like some tents. This will work great for us for some portable shade.

Nice portable shade

This tent is great -- we used it at the beach - after a few times setting it up - it was a breeze.  I like the fact that you get the breeze from all sides  - and it covers what is needed.

Awesome tent

I used this at the beach less than a week ago and I don't know what I would have done without it! It fit 3 adults, a cooler, and a picnic basket comfortably and provided shade the whole day. I would definitely recommend to try to assemble this at home at least once ahead of time or at least watch the video right before attempting assembly. It was trickier to set up with all the wind at the beach but it took less than ten minutes (it did take 3 people but it was pretty windy and I couldn't remember how to put it together).  Once we had it all together we filled the bags with sand, buried them, and used the pins provided. It held up amazingly with no problem. If at the beach I would recommend to fill the 4 bags with sand first so you're not worrying about it flying away while you're assembling it (don't bury them till it's all assembled). I definitely recommend this shade!!!

Great buy!

Glad we read the reviews first.  A must to try and assemble prior to needing it.  We brought this to the beach and couldn't have been happier.  Was able to get out of the sun when need be.  We just need to purchase a bigger blanket to put under it.   Was able to get 2 folding chairs under it as well.  Our dog did think it was his personal tent though.

Perfect for the beach

Not too tricky to set up, I would practice before hitting the sand, first time setup was around 10 Minutes I expect to get it under 5.  It provided enough shade for 2 camp chairs and 2 adults, 2 children had enough room to squeeze in comfortably.  the breeze rolled through fine,  and the 'sandbags' held it in place.  I did dig holes and placed each sandbag in it to secure it better.  The breeze off the coast was light and steady, the shelter held fine.  Tear down was just as easy and it all fit back into the back great, even with a less than perfect folding job.  I would not suggest it for wind and rain, but breezy and sunny it does the job!

Great for the Money

This shelter went up and kept the rain off 3 of us, in folding camp chairs, at my daughters softball game. It goes up reasonably quickly once you practice. I practiced in my living room and managed not to knock over any lamps or furniture. It has a low profile which is good when you are at an event and you don't want people to hate you.

One problem, one of the pole segments cracked partially after the first use. Luckily it's something that was fixed with a bit of strapping tape but still...

I understand why people pay more for a pop-up.

We took the advice of others and did a couple of trial runs putting the shade together ahead of time, which was a good idea! Haven't used the shade yet, but it seems roomy and should meet our needs. Love the fact that it is so light, rather than having carry around a 50 lb EZ up. Open bottom, not sure yet if that is a pro or a con...

This item was difficult to assemble. During our attempt to erect one of the poles broke and we were unable to use the item. The online description said easy assembly 5 mins or less. I was very dissappointed with my purchase. I want to return it for my money back.

The poles on this sun shelter break with even the slightest breeze.  We bought 2 thinking the first one was just a fluke, but the second one didn't last a day with the breeze from the ocean.
