There's a few things I can say about this Almay One Coat Mega Volume mascara that I'm getting to try out for free from Walmart Spark Review and giving my honest opinion about it. One thing is I love the tube it comes in, the color of the wand part of the mascara. Its a metallic bright pink and the shape of the mascara brush goes from big (wide) to small. You can see it in the picture I post on here. The color is called Blackest Black. I like that it gives volume and it makes my lashes long. I'm gonna post another picture where it shows one of my eyelashes is done using this mascara and the other eyelash isn't. There is a big difference and I recommend this product. Almay NewOne Coat Megaphone Brush Mascara

I love this mascara! The megaphone shaped brush is my favorite thing about it. It really helped me coat the tiny outer lashes. The product goes on smoothly, stays on my lashes with no flaking or drying. The color is intensely black. I noticed my lashes seemed fuller and longer. My only complaint is that it kinda clumped lashes together, surely this can be avoided if you comb immediately after application.

Love the megaphone shaped brush!

I am a big fan of Almay products and I really like this Almay One Coat Mega Volume Mascara. The megaphone brush shape is unusual but is does a good job applying mascara to the corner of my eye lashes. It took me awhile to get used to it but overall I got thick long lashes as I kept applying it. When I used my eye lash curler after the mascara dried my eye lashes were gorgeous! I didn't notice any flakes only when I touched my lashes. I always remove my mascara with Johnson baby shampoo and removing this mascara was easy with the baby shampoo. I like the amount of product which is .34 fl. oz. so it should last me a couple of months. I am always tossing my mascara after 2 or 3 months because it's a product that is used on the eyes and I don't want to chance bacteria setting in. Overall I was very pleased with the look of my long thick lashes and it doesn't take much product to achieve that look.

Good volume and full looking lashes

Great mascara. This was really good at lengthening and adding volume to my lashes. True to the name, I only used one coat. As you can see, it did pretty well. I have pretty thin eyelashes so I really need something that multiplies and lengthens. I felt this did the trick. The brush is a pretty different design as well. I think that helped with the ability to get such volume and length with one coat. As stated before, I have pretty thin lashes. If yours are thicker than mine this is heaven sent.

Great Mascara

This Almay One Coat Mega Volume 010 Blackest Black Mascara .34 ounces comes in a plastic container with plastic applicator. It clams to have show stopping volume with their megaphone brush. This flared brush is designed by the company to Maximize the formula pickup and delivery to lashes. The mascara film forms a triple was complex for soft build able Volume. The instructions say to add drama, sweep the outer lashes with the flared end of the brush. This mascara washes off easily with warm water and no soap is needed. The product states opthalmologist tested, suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearer. This is made in the US with domestic and foreign components. The applicator has a stiff brush and it goes on light. This has a long list of ingredients that I cannot pronounce. It has a warning that it may contain Iron Oxides. This product works well but it does have a chemical smell. You can use this product for more volume.

Adds Volume

I like this Almay One Coat Mega Volume Mascara. Of course through my 33 years I have had many mascaras so I have a lot to compare it to. I wouldn't say it is the best I have ever had but it definitely does the job nicely and isn't clumpy like others I have had. It is a nice deep rich black and lasts all day for me. It makes my lashes look longer which is what I liked the most about it so far because I have really short eyelashes and am always looking for mascara that can do that. I recommend this as this is a good quality product that lasts.

Does the job

Lets start with the shape.. Different than what is a normal style wand. Flat bottom allowed for easy access to my bottom lashes. Other than the wand being too long the brush itself help reach every lash in different angles. The trick is to find your angles. The formula allowed for lashes to stay shapely yet it was a little rough. Almost stiff, but it defiantly held its curvature through yoga practice. Its like hairspray for your lashes. Over all its a pretty decent mascara.. Doesn’t separate lashes, fan like but makes them long and secure for the day, while allowing you to manage the direction of the lashes using the Megaphone Brush. One Coat and Your done.

One and Done

I immediately noticed a difference after applying one coat of mascara. Attached are two photos which document that effect of this mascara. My makeup preference is a subtle, natural look and in my opinion Almay One Coat Mega Volume Mascara provided exactly what I wanted. 

Minus one star as I experienced slight clumping on my lashes, something I loathe about mascara. Nevertheless, I thought the mascara offered a pop to my fresh-face look.

Nice Mascara

I really like this mascara. I have short and thin lashes that are practically nonexistent. But I am totally loving how my lashes look after using this mascara. It thickens and add volume to my lashes with the help of the unique megaphone shape. It is easy to apply and is long lasting. I don't recommend more than a couple strokes because it will start to clump up. A couple strokes of this mascara is equivalent to at least ten strokes of others so my lashes is really crushing on this mascara. “This post was sponsored by Almay® as part of a sampling activation for Crowdtap. Love my new lashes!

The Almay One Coat Mega Volume is thick for sure. It was too much to do a second coat. So if you don't like how it looks with one coat, it looks worse with two. I think if you have decent lashes and want a boost this is perfect! I have very light thin lashes and need all the help I can get. So for me, this will not be the one I use. 

The applicator is wide on the top and thin on the bottom. This is so you can basically load globs on your lashes before combing thru. I did not like this. It felt like just clumping and sloppy. I also felt with the big flared end of the brush blocked my view in the application process a few times. I felt I was turning my head and moving the brush at all angles. In the application I got mascara on my lids and had to try and get that off. Way too complicated for just mascara.

I have sensitive eyes, so I wanted to be sure to wear this all day. I was aware of the mascara, but I did not get red eyes or swollen eyes the next day. That is a plus.

This is not water proof. It comes off with water, but felt like it was almost oily thick in trying to get off. It was not a very quick removal.
