Wonderful interface and lots of apps
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace a bedroom tv and the menus and navigation are so good that I wish our larger more expensive living room set navigates like this. The built in roku works faster than the Fire Stick I had plugged into the HDMI port, and seems to have more apps that I ended up giving my Fire Stick to my father. I am a cord cutter and have an HD antenna. This set seems to pick up more over the air channels with the antenna than when plugged into my previous set. I get all the major networks and that's impressive since I live in the shadow of large hills that make reception poor. The only downside I can find is that while it is a 4K set, it doesn't do HDR. HDR can really make more of a difference in image quality when playing videogames. But I knew this when I purchased it. Besides, I do my gaming on the more expensive living room set that has HDR. I'm very happy with my purchase and my girlfriend likes using the menus and various apps more than our other set.

Excellent 4K TV for gaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been hunting for a 4K TV for a while to use with my Xbox One X. Found this one on sale and grabbed it. My chief concern was input delay or sceeen lag, I really can’t stand any significant delay when gaming. After turning it on (and begrudgingly sign up for a Roku account) I found the settings extremely easy to navigate. Within settings there are different preferences for the video, in advanced options there is a “game mode” option which reduces input delay massively. There is no delay, it’s extremely fast and responsive. The picture quality is great, but there are tons of settings to fiddle with. I love the HDR quality, it’s my first HDR TV and it really makes the whites and blacks pop. Another small note, the built in speakers are quite good. Not as good as a sound bar, but above average for built in speakers. The remote is great too. Simple and to the point. Volume is on the right side of the remote on a rocker switch, so it’s super easy to adjust volume without seeing the controller. No numbers and no unnecessary buttons make it easy. My only gripe is you have to turn the TV on and always select an input, rather than it starting at whatever input you left it at before. Maybe I can adjust this? It’s minor though. Highly recommend for gamers on a budget.

Great TV for the Budget !!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV has exceeded all my expectations for a budget TV. HDR is actually pretty decent on video's that support it. Gaming does not support HDR on this TV , but that is okay Standard , and Gaming Modes look great ! Also for A budget TV I did not expect HDR gaming to be a thing even though it would of been nice ! This TV has opened my eye's for purchasing a TV , and realizing that You do not have to spend 1000's of dollars to get a great looking device ! I know the pictures I sent do not really do justice on the quality of the TV's picture considering you can only see as good as the camera i am using. Just wanted to give some kind of reference of how impressed I was with the quality ! I will say finding a ROKU interface version of this TV is very difficult , considering Amazon has taken over most of the user interfaces on newer TV's , and I will stress that is most unfortunate. The ROKU interface is soooo much better and for some reason the menu options for built in adjustments are way more customizable than the fire versions ! I hope you guys have the same experience as me when buying this product !

Best tv
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I wanted to buy a new tv for my bedroom. I have a 32” Insignia for 6 years and it still works great. However my eyes are not as great any more. I went to Best Buy and I saw a Samsung for $249. It was a 50” but not a smart tv. As I keep walking I came across this one. I like my 32” and I said if I can’t get Samsung I would get insignia. When I got it home I did not measure the tv so I had to buy a new dresser as well but it was all worth it. The tv is a great and clean picture. The sound is better then any other tv I have heard and the best part is all the apps I can download on the tv and not have to switch devices. This was a big plus for me because a had an older PS3 and when I would turn it on it hummed. For me this was a great buy even though I love Samsung.

Excellent buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I made sure to research a TV before I bought one this time. My 2 previous TVs went out on me. The last, which was a gift, lost video but had sound after only 6months..So, I wanted something good for the best price. I found it. I read all the review, looked up the stats and what not. This TV is VERY good for the price. You can't beat that. I'm always getting compliments on how beautiful both the picture and sound is on this TV. So far there are no cons at all. I highly recommended it. I've had this TV for about 4 months now and not one problem.

Awesome 4K TV for the $$
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has built in Roku, which saves you the cost of buying a Roku device. Roku has a built in Spectrum Cable app so that means that’s one less cable box you have to rent and pay for monthly. A very clear picture and set up is simple. Simple, no frills, at a great price.

Q: QuestionHow do I set up this TV so cable input is default? I don't want to have to select input every time I turn it on. Can it be set up to start in cable mode? My comcast remote allows me to change volume but not select input. I have to keep two remotes around.
Asked by DSF64DD.
- A:Answer Amended answer: Go to the Home screen with all the content offerings, etc. From the top listed menu selections, scroll to the right and select Settings, then select Display & Sounds. From the menu options listed in a window on the right, scroll down to "Set power on to last input." See screen caps attached. Do not press and hold the Home Icon at the top of the Remote. This selection will take you to small, right side menu which does not have this option. (Should be included in next update!)

Q: QuestionCcan we use this TV with Apple TV and antenna. we do not have cable or satellite. thank you.
Asked by EWE2see.
- A:Answer Yes and Yes. As long as the Apple TV has HDMI connectivity you can use it. This TV has 3 HDMI inputs (2 on side and 1 on back). Although it has Roku integrated, which does a lot of similar stuff to Apple TV, but it really comes down to preference. It also accepts a coaxial cable input for over the air broadcast from an antenna. It has an interesting feature where if you install a 16GB USB drive it will allow you to pause live television. Nice bonus feature.

Q: QuestionMy TV, this model Insigina "43, just went out, the only thing on is the LED light. Its the same model. What can I do to fix it? Is it the tube that can be taken out And put a new one. How much to fix? Please let me know. Thanks,
Asked by Yoli.
- A:Answer There’s no tubes in these things. If the red LED light is on that means the TV is off. Once you turn the TV on the red led shuts off. It sounds like maybe the remote isn’t working. Have you tried the power button on the back of the TV? It’s a square button in the bottom right corner (if you are facing the back of the TV)

Q: QuestionWould this tv be good for hooking up to a pc and using as a 4k monitor. I know my current 2k monitor doesn't use the full resolution except through the display port. I don't know if you could get 4k from a computer with hdmi. My graphics card is a gtx970.
Asked by cueist.
- A:Answer I bought this 4K UHD TV to serve primarily as a computer monitor, and I'm glad that I did.' It is excellent and easily up to the job.

Q: QuestionDoes this tv have web access and if not how do I get web access
Asked by internet.
- A:Answer Absolutely! Thats what is was made for. It has built in Roku and finding tons of web content is really simple. It very easy to connect the set to your home's wi-fi system. There is enough free or extremely cheap web based content that you could easily cancel your cable. It's a little hard to organize all the channels as you get a few here and a few there and if you want to watch sports you might have use one of the pay channels to get nfl redzone or something similar.
