Great phone great price!
This phone is great so far! my one shipped with nougat and I recommend STAYING WITH NOUGAT. I can update to oreo and even pie but after researching enough I found it is a battery tanker to upgrade trust me don't bother. Especially if you use certain launchers that can bridge most gaps and as I use htc themes there's really not much different but the menus. Anyways this phone is snappy, fits well in the hand and has a lot of innovative useful features. I downloaded edge launcher from the app store (since I'm not upgrading) which is also great! I also like that if you don't want to use the squeeze you can just take it off and still have a great phone. No complaints with this very capable phone on all features, meets the standard of it's peers of it's year on all levels and then exceeds standards in other areas I'd say mostly with music, customization ability and camera. It is a great alternative if you don't fancy buying a 2020 flagship device for over $1k 😅. I was also impressed to see that there was not nearly as much difference as I'd expected to see between this phone and a flagship from this year thanks to HTCs optimizations and snappy experiences. Just like the old one (HTC One M8) and maybe a little better. Handy size for me.
Had a HTC One M8 that I liked pretty well, but the battery died after 4 years. It was all the phone I needed, but figured I would upgrade a little anyway. Found a new unlocked HTC U11 and purchased it for $240. It was almost seamless to transfer all the text mssgs and contacts from the old to the new. There were a number of contacts that did not make it over, but overall satisfactory. Great phone packed with features
Love this phone. It is easy to use and the Alexa integration makes it so simple. The Google assistant seems to do the same but both are useful. Also the storage is good especially with the added Micro SD card slot. Price was the right range as well. Glass is tough and love the anti fingerprint and smudge technology. I love HTC phones, This is my fifth HTC phone. The phone has a great battery life and is lightning fast. The camera is amazing. I love that is comes with Alexa built in. Beautiful and fragile
This is sucha beautiful phone, slim and smooth. Not too heavy and is large enough to fit perfectlyon the palm of your hand. It's processing speed is excellent, but what I love the most is the picture quality. The sound is what you would expect from HTC, crisp and loud. Most people don't know much about HTC, and it's too bad. This is a beautiful phone with all the features of its competitors and more. From the edge squeeze to the awesome camera to the stunning speed and quickness, this is a very well rounded phone. If you are trying to decide between this or other ones like the s8 or v30 or even the iPhone X, give this one a try! You won't regret it. I have no cons to display, except for maybe the lack of always on display like the s8. Also, good luck trying to fine a good screen protector. Most are poor reviewed.
