From the Manufacturer

The Starks are an ancient house, whose ancestral castle Winterfell was built thousands of years in the past. Winterfell, is located in the center of the northern province of the Seven Kingdoms, on the Kingsroad that runs from King's Landing to the Wall. Beneath Winterfell lie the Stark family crypts, ancient final resting place of the line. The crypts are guarded by carved dire wolves, an unusually large and intelligent species of wolf represented the family's house sigil. We have worked with the production team of Game of Thrones, facilitated by HBO Licensing, to reference the actual prop from the series as the basis for a sculptural set of polystone bookends.

    These arrived and looked amazing. My boyfriend was really excited and they looked like really high quality. Unfortunately, they arrived broken in two at the front feet of the wolf. Amazon was wonderful and I currently have another set in the mail. I had no trouble at all with the return. I gave it a 4 star only because of the apparent structural weakness at the front feet.

    Great bookends, yes they're overpriced slightly but still solid and look good. Some customers complain that they chip easily, but I dropped one and it didn't chip. Plus, the ears are cut slightly by design, but very little. You're getting what you pay for, or for what you're paying $20 extra for.

    These bookends have some weight to them, they are beautiful, manly, and I am proud to have them hold up my LOTR and GOT collections!

    My only complaint is that they are mirror images, I would have preferred a little diversity, however! I have them facing eachother so you can't tell.
