    Not sure how robust this is going to be!
    Bit disappointed, the first time I used it one of the spikes came off the grip disk (see photo). I don't know when it happened as there was no noise, nor did it get stuck. The core on the centre is a terrible waste, particularly if you want to do carrots - it is about a centimetre thick. It is quite good at spiralizing, but I suspect it is easier to do when you are pushing down on the veg, rather than horizontally. You really have to pull the veg towards the blade with substantial pressure to stop the spiral from breaking. I like it on the whole, but it shouldn't have broken so easily.

      Received my Hemsley + Hemsley Spiralizer today. Super fast delivery after ordering only yesterday evening. So far I've used the recipe card provided in the box to make Courgetti Ragu for dinner tonight and it was delicious! The spiralizer was extremely easy and fun to use, making incredibly long curly strands of courgette. I cannot wait to use this gadget to make coleslaw, curly potato fries and more and pack more fun veggies into my lunches and dinners. It has the Hemsley Hemsley logo on the side, suction cups on the feet which attached it securely to my kitchen counter top and is very easy to clean after use as you just slide one of the 3 chosen blades out and give it a quick rinse in warm soapy water and dry. If you are considering buying, don't heaitate, it's a great little gadget and makes a great purchase alongside the Hemsley + Hemsley cookery book and recipes from their blog. Highly recommend this spiralizer.

      a typical spiralizer, easy to clean compared to others, sometimes it does not stabilize on the counter, because of the plastic suckers and its best to take out the other blades when using it because if you leave them at their stacks you will then have to clean them again.. I wish it was a little bit smaller because it takes a lot of space in the cupboards. A lot of food its wasted because the core that holds the fruits is rather big. Aesthetically pleasing and does the job promised.

      I love this wee gadget have used it almost everyday since I bought it, really does help you eat more vegetables and allows you to get more from them, there is virtually no waste at all. It's simple to use and comes with 3 different blades two of which are stored neatly away when not in use, cleaning is simple but I would recommend you get a brush to clean the spikey part that holds the veg as food tends to stick there and can also get stuck in the blades, I have also found that carrots tend to stain the spiralizer. The whole machine has suction feet that hold it nicely in place, quick easy & simple to use.if you value your health I sugest you get yourself one.

      To start with I just want to say that this was Hemsley and Hemsley logo'd spiraliser unlike some of the other post. I say this because I was fully prepared to return it if it was not as advertised, but was pleased that the box and the machine both have their label on. I have wanted one of these for a while and delighted with the price and the fast delivery. The machine itself is good to a point, although I have pressed the suction feet down it still slides across the worktop but this is not a big problem and I can mange that. So far I have tried carrots parsnips cucumber aubergine bell peppers potatoes and swede. The only ones that worked were Cucumber Potatoes and Swede. Carrots and parsnips need to be larger than the ones I have to be effective, Aubergine just turns to mush, so I'm off shopping today to get better vegetables. As a summary, I would recommend you to buy but don't expect it to manage all your veg you will still need a sharp knife for some!

      Quite a large appliance. Takes a bit to clean up after. Doesn't really work on carrots unless they are huge...in fact all veggie used must be fairly large for the blades to work . A little disappointed as it will probably end up at the back of the cupboard due to all these negative features, however it does work well and the results are good. Just not sure if it's worth all the hassle!

      Very poor. Very disappointed with this product. The design makes it very hard to use. You have to turn the handle with your right hand whilst simultaneously pushing the handle at the front hard and to the left with your left hand.... Sounds simple until you have to do it. Also, I found it impossible to secure the suction feet on any worktop surface, breadboard, table or anything else. This means that while you are trying to use the thing, it's sliding around all over the place. Lastly, the design means you have a core of vegetable/fruit left and you can only spiralise 3/4 of the vegetable etc as the shunter stops a good inch from the end. I tried to spiralise an apple and a courgette and it failed on both. If you are thinking of buying this device, my advice us DON'T BOTHER! Have returned for refund.

      After going on a health mission but enjoying food too much to just eat boring food I decided I needed a way to make things a little more enjoyable and look forward to my meals. I also wanted my fussy 2 year old to start finding different shaped foods fun so that he would actually eat them!! This is so easy to use and it sticks to the kitchen surface so your not having to hold it down. It is Easy to clean and you can stick everything in the dishwasher if you want. It creates thin or thick veg noodles and there is also the ribbon cut which is pretty funky. I recommend to buy a spiralizer cook book to explore your possibilities or just look on YouTube for some inspiration. I tend to spiralize carrot, sweet potato, courgettes and peppers.

      Smashing product! It really does what you hope it would, I have only spiralized carrots and courgettes at the moment but the results are fantastic. My son, who won't touch courgettes normally, ate the whole lot when it was served with the Ragu in place of pasta. Looking forward to doing it again for tea today as the recipe in the box made so much I don't have to cook tonight. Fabulous! Also, not quite as big as I thought so I will just remove an item of equipment from the cupboard that I'm not currently using regularly and pop it in there. Nifty storage for the various blades makes it safe, which is a good thing as the blades are extremely sharp. All in all, it's great, I've never smiled so much preparing a courgette!
