beautiful and rustic looking! i ordered this one and a smaller yellow birdcage, too. I took the glass globe out of both of them and put a little electric candle in each of them along with some greenery and have them in our dining room. LOVE!!

    I was VERY disappointed when I opened the box and had to recheck my order to make sure I'd been sent the correct item. Looking more carefully, and on a different device, I can see that what I thought were shadows are actually "distressed" patched in the paintwork. Also, I expected the item to be "golden", not plain yellow. It's the right size for what I want it for & seems sturdy, but I don't like the "found in a barn after 30 years in a junk pile" look, so I'm going to paint it.
