I drove my '86 Volvo Station wagon all the way to LA from Portland without a hitch. Unfortunately, the ability to go form 0 to 30 in under a minute is a very useful skill in such a car-dominated city, and something I didn't have. Also no air conditioning. I highly suggest both of these things in Los Angeles.
Freeways dominate the landscape, and a hard edge of the Pacific Ocean to the west orients the city as a radiating playground that is best experienced in a car.
I had a great time and always enjoy going back.

Framing:
These prints fit in an Ikea frame, but you'll need your own matting (I suggest getting a mat cut from your local framer)

What's the big idea?
New research indicates that GPS's are hindering our ability to create mental maps of our surroundings. My maps aim to install a "Map from the Mind" for each city, simplifying structures and districts in the simplest terms. The circle, our Universe's softest shape, clearly conveys size and connections.
