  • A good product which solved the problem with my Transit connect van.

The DPF cleaner cleared the carbon blockage in the DPF unit of my Ford transit connect van, choked up by doing short runs. I eventually used 2 bottles after calculating diesel content of fuel tank and went for a few longer trips with 3rd gear engaged to run at higher RPM 3000rpm. The fault warning icon on the instrument panel extinguished, an alarm chime sounded and I reset the engine block icon on the panel with my OBD2 diagnostic device with engine stopped. Van is now running well, power and speed restored , a good job done Thank You !!!

  • Does the job.

I've got a clunky old Nissan X Trail. More miles on it than The Starship Enterprise. Turbo gets a bit bogged down from time to time. Ran a bottle of this through a full tank of ultimate diesel followed by another with regular diesel and it's blown the soot right out. Pulls like a... well, a 2.2 litre 4x4 that's 15 years old but is at least a bit less sooty.

  • Does the Job and Cheaper Than the Competition

I've used JLM DPF (diesel particulate filter) cleaner previously at £25-26 for a 375ml bottle. Good product but so expensive. I paid £11.49 for this Wynn's job with free postage (AND it was posted from Northern Ireland) and it is just as good. Cleaned my DPF out no problem. The Focus diesel is ticking over lovely. It de-sooted the the DPF like it says on the label. I took it on a good run on the motorway averaging 1700-1800 revs and noticed the difference in performance quite quickly. I'd do about 100 miles at the same revs if you can for it to work its magic. For those out there not familiar with what a blocked DPF does to your cars performance a mechanic associate of mine summed it up as follows: Recite the alphabet whilst doing your best to strangle yourself. That's what a diesel engine feels like with a blocked DPF. A great way of explaining it I think. Overall, yes this is a good and value for money product. At this price I can afford to put a bottle in the fuel tank every couple of thousand miles as a preventative.

  • Give it a go

I have a 2005 and a 2006 ford mondeo tdci and suffered with the cars going into "limp mode" where the revs are restricted when the glow plug warning light comes on as the cars are used on short journeys. after checking with local garage as it was intermittent I have used the cleaner whenever this has occurred and given the car a bit of an italian tune up basically driving the car hard in high revs to burn off the soot which has cleared the problem. I use whenever i take the car on a long run and so far the problem has been stopped. So for my two cars the cleaner with the tuneup has done the job over the last 2 years. The car appears to run better as well. Give it a go as cheaper than other alternatives

  • It actually does what it says

First time I've come across something that actually does what the advert says... if by chance you do not believe me and your DPF filter requires cleaning then just put this product in your diesel fuel tank. I put it in my tank as my DPF filter was starting to soot up. I realized this when my fan was running on after I switched off ignition on my Ford Focus 1.6 TDCI which was happening all the time. So after I put a full bottle in my tank within about 20 mins the car was running fine but then it always did however now when I switch off my car's ignition fan switches off also. This was over 4 weeks ago & never had any problems since....

  • Works for a small price.

This is the only product I have found that works to get rid of the dreaded engine warning light caused by a blocked DPF. I have tried garage regeneration to clear the DPF but have found it is only a temporary remedy lasting a few weeks. This lasts for months and better than spending hundreds on having DPF reomoved to be cleaned or replacement which on my vehicle would cost approx £3000.

  • volvo v70

I have used this product for over three years now and I have to say it's the best thing I have used to sort out the problem I had with the dpf on my 2009 Volvo v70. Because I only do about 5000 miles a year with very little motorway driving I kept getting a service light up because the dpf was clogged up. Works a treat and the light has never come on since I've used it'

  • Not as good as it says

This product might be good to be used as a precaution so your dpf stays clean but if you have a check engine light on the dash and your dpf is block this cleaner wont make any changes
