About

DNCE IN CONCERT:

Pop rock quartet DNCE always gets audiences moving their feet with an infectious blend of catchy-as-heck tunes and exuberant showmanship. Frontman and teen idol turned pop powerhouse Joe Jonas brings plenty of enthusiasm and performance chops to the stage as he belts out lyrics about life in the fast lane and rocks out to the band's upbeat tunes. The rest of the group keeps the energy cranked to the max, getting every last fan in the venue up on their feet with top-notch musicianship, killer hooks, and plenty of party-worthy energy. The group made a big splash with their popular debut single “Cake by the Ocean”, and their other dance-ready standouts like “Pay My Rent” and “Jinx” bring the same combination of youthful energy, grooving bass, and passionate vocals. As DNCE hits the road for the first time to tour with Jonas’ fellow Disney Channel-alum Selena Gomez, ticket buyers are in for an all-out pop party they won't soon forget.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

As one third of the renowned Jonas Brothers, Joe Jonas enjoyed household name status before he could even drive. He and his brothers were a staple on the Disney Channel, eventually becoming so popular that they starred in their own made-for-TV movie Camp Rock and launched their own sitcom JONAS. As the Jonas Brothers became an international sensation, Joe found time to release his solo debut album Fastlife in 2011. The brothers recorded four albums together that sold more than 17 million copies worldwide, but in 2013 they decided they wanted to part ways and pursue personal projects. Joe and former Jonas Brothers drummer Jack Lawless got to work on new material, eventually tapping guitarist JinJoo Lee and bassist Cole Whittle to round out their colorful new quartet DNCE. The group captivated listeners right out of the gate with their debut Platinum single “Cake by the Ocean" and fans can’t get enough of DNCE’s 2015 debut EP SWAAY.

    Niall Horan was amazing

by DilemmaEmms on 6/6/17Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Niall Horan was AMAZING! I was so happy that he went on first. He did such a good job performing. It was all magical. Next was Post Malone, who wasn't all that great because people in the audience pushed. No one pushed for Niall Horan, but for Post, they did. Then those people who pushed were right in front of us, jumping on top of us. We left after Post Malone because it was so uncomfortable.

The SPF event was great most of the entertainers were very professional and sounded good. My two negative comments are that the event did not start anywhere near to on time and the signer, I use that term lightly, Post Malone was a drunken mess and very unprofessional. I almost left the event during his set and do not feel he was compatible to the other groups booked for the event.

    Everyone one was amazing... except

by Hollynrizzle on 5/24/17Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Loved it! 5/6 performers really have their all. Except Post Malone. He lip synced the entitled time and although he is talented and already skeptical listen is completely disenchanted. DNCE was worth the wait and the best part was when Martin Garrix made a guest appearance. I am an avid DJ listener and this was a pleasant surprise. Overall amazing performances that showed how much they appreciate their fans.

    Rubbish

by gratterav on 5/23/17Boulevard Pool at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas - Las Vegas

It was so boring! Far too much time between acts, there should have been an MC/ compare to keep the crowd going. Really disappointed and it wasn't cheap! Ended up leaving early!!

Put your feet above your hands and dnce dance

by Ashketchup on 4/8/17Iowa State Cyclones - Hilton Coliseum - Ames

I saw them twice before when they opened for selena Gomez and on their tour in nashville. While they didn't have the shopping cart or their confiti cannons they were amazing. The entire concert was a big dance party and I got there early enough to get front row center.

Goin to DNCE was a fantastic decision!

by Fwelu on 4/8/17Iowa State Cyclones - Hilton Coliseum - Ames

My friends convinced me to go and given that I didn't know that many of their songs and that I wasn't a huge fan before the show, I was not planning on the show being anything special to me. Their opening band was okay but nothing to get too excited about. However, when DNCE came out wearing masks from Star Wars, I had a feeling I was about to have a great time. The band was having so much fun themselves that it was impossible to not have a great time with them. They were energetic and creative and I personally can say I left a big fan of DNCE after the show. If DNCE is ever coming to a venue near you, go for it, you won't regret it!
