Spray onto dry, finished hair before using heat styling tools. Spray to lock in the look.
Precautions: Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurized container may burst if heated. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 48C/120F. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid spraying in eyes. Use only as directed. Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the contents may be harmful or fatal.

Up to what temperature does this protect the hair from? It's not listed anywhere which is weird for a product that's supposed to be a heat protectant.

- Official Answer By Paul MitchellThis product is made to work our Paul Mitchell tools and can withstand at least 450°F, as that’s the max temp of tools we manufacture. Please keep in mind that you should choose the appropriate temperature for your hair type while using thermal protection. For Fragile, Very Fine hair use between 250-290 degrees Fahrenheit. Fine hair uses between 290-300 degrees Fahrenheit, Medium-Textured 330-370 degrees Fahrenheit, Thick 370-410 degrees Fahrenheit and Coarse, Very Thick 410 degrees Fahrenheit.Was this answer helpful to you

I have several clients that are looking for a hair spray by Paul Mitchell or other companies that is truly alcohol free, paraban free, vegan and sulfate free and is not tested on animals. Will Paul Mitchell be coming out with an alcohol free version in the very near future in a workable flexible styling spray, and also an alcohol free version in a firm or extra firm finishing spray? Also many clients are searching for alcohol free styling mousse or gels.

Soft, Touchable, Shiny Hair With Flexible Hold
My quest to FINALLY find a styling product that holds my curls with a touchable, soft finish has happened!!!! So many hairsyrays and texture spays coat the hair and while it holds the curl its hard, stiff, or coats your hair and it fewls nasty - that was a trade off i was never satisfied with. Ive used high and and low end and was never finding what i needed. But this hairspraay delivers what i need - soft hold, shiny hair, no frizz, no nasty coating on the hair, holds the curls with softness and no stickiness and no stiffness - and the bonus is it works as a heat protectant! It dowsnt break and bank either AND it smells nice! WINNER!!! No residue!!

I've been using this for over a year now and have repurchased this a couple of times. I love how well this works as a heat protectant when I style my dry hair. It gives such an even mist when I spray it, which is important so I know my hair is evenly protected. I have fine hair and it doesn't weight it down at all. My daughter uses it as well. She has drier hair and it doesn't dry her hair out. Works well on different hair types.
