    Great fun to ringlet hair, a bit tricky to do with no help but my daughters can manage to do each others and it’s all good fun. Half hoped would be ok to sleep in but although my teenager once did there was no way I could!! Too uncomfortable. Have yet to try with setting lotion which has to be the way forward….

    It took me a few times to get the hang of it as I was doing it on my own hair and I’m honestly crap at doing hair in general. Very easy and simple to use when I did get the hang of it though. Just make sure you stop and try a again if the hair doesn’t pull through easily without pulling too hard. Once done right they done hurt at all. Wouldn’t recommend sleeping with them in though. Very uncomfortable.

    Was looking for something to curl my fine and relatively straight hair without damaging heat and these may well be the answer. I watched a few youtube tutorials on how to use these before purchasing and that really helped to get a few tips (make sure your hair is damp not wet, comb it through thoroughly and don't try apply to too big a section of hair). My hair is currently shoulder length and first time I used them I also used a curl define product. Used the curlformers as per instructions (for my hair approximately half of this pack was enough) I started the drying process by heating them with my hair dryer for a few minutes then left them in for probably 2-3 hours, then curiosity and impatience got the better of me and I removed them.
    I was pleasantly surprised to find that the curls had formed really well in this time - a little too well actually, when I first took them out it looked like I'd acquired a "Shirley Temple" perm! but with a bit of combing through and some hair serum the curls did drop to give a natural spiral curl. I'm considering purchasing the wider barrel curl version for a looser curl.
    Downside - they are quite annoying to wear and quite noisy when you move your head around and I doubt very much that I could sleep in them and you do need plenty of time for your hair to dry completely so unless you can sleep in them I think you could only realistically use them if you are basically staying in all day! (unless you don't mind being out and about looking like Side Show Bob from the Simpsons!
    Overall I would recommend

    Once you get the hang of it, they're quick and easy to use. Sleeping in them is easier / more comfortable if I put them lower in my hair, so that my head doesn't rest of them. My hair comes down to my bra strap! Good curl, but you need to make sure it is completely dry before removing, else the curl will drop and look awful. Curl too tight for me - I ended up looking like an 80's throw back with a bad poodle perm - I think perhaps I should have gone for the barrel size, but to give more interest to an up-do, they're fine.

    I love my curl formers. I have mixed texture Afro hair and usually my hair does not curl without the use of heat but the curl formers have changed that. To be honest, when I took them out my hair liked like it had been curled using a curl iron. I left them in over night and woke up to soft, bouncy curls and they felt comfortable enough to sleep in. Very easy to use once you get used to putting them in and so easy and quick to take out. Definitely worth buying.

    So difficult to use. The tubes are not as soft as they look and therefore really uncomfy to sleep in. Ok if you can leave them in all day ready for an evening out but they are really difficult to take out without pulling on the hair

    I have long fairly thick hair past my shoulders. Tried several times and finally got the nack of putting them in. Small sections are the only way. However, even when wearing them in over night or blow drying them in dry they never created the curl as stated or if the odd one did slightly the curl fell out after an hour. Curling tongs are still the best way, I think, of getting a good curl and them lasting all day/eve.

    Die Handhabung ist alleine nicht zu empfehlen, da ich mich zwischenzeitlich am Rande des Wahnsinns befand. Es geht, aber macht keinen Spass. Ich würde mir in Zukunft helfen lassen.
    Ich habe sehr dickes Haar und hatte erst Zweifel das der Inhalt ausreichend ist doch ich muss sagen ich hatte zum Schluss noch 5 übrig.
    Super Locken, doch ich würde empfehlen die Haare nach dem entfernen der Curlformers nicht durchzubürsten, außer man steht auf den Afro-Look. Die Haare mit den Fingern aufzulockern ist total ausreichend.
    Das Produkt ist sein Geld wert!!!
