Hate the new formula! It’s drying on the lips and pulls your skin when you try to swipe the product on (which probably would cause wrinkles in the long run). There’s zero shine and makes your lips look matte and feel dry. I imagine this is how it would feel if u used a candle to moisturize your lips. The cap is very thin and flimsy. When you remove the cap it bends in between your fingers and feels like it’s going to break. It’s unfortunate that they changed the formula and packaging. I used to love this product but now switching to Dr. Bronners.

I can’t figure out what they changed, but this new version just doesn’t work. Like other brands of chapstick, this new formula dries out your lips way more than the old version. Sad to see another good brand ruined.

I have been using Burt’s Bees for over 10 years now and it has always been my go to. However, the new packaging on their chapsticks is just not cutting it for me. I have cracked multiple lids, which has never happened to me before, and once that happens you can’t put it back on correctly and it will fall right off. You’re forced to open a new tube at that point if you’re carrying it in a purse or pocket, and I should not have to do that! Comparing the old(L) with the new(R) style caps, you can see how much thinner the packaging was made. I’ve always loved the product but I’m hoping that there will be improvements made in the future with this packaging. Trying to fix something that wasn’t broken was the wrong move!

Your new lids are ridiculously thin, they crack upon first removal and then don’t fit properly any longer. Old square edged lids won’t fit the new tubes either. Don’t use the excuse you’re trying to use less plastic-it’s a money grab. After over 30 years of use, seriously considering changing brands….

This specific lip balm brand has been my favorite ever since I started using it. That was over 13 years ago. However, I have noticed that in my recent 2 years of use that the (original lip balm with vitamin E) has changed! I don’t recognize what the change is. It could be one of the ingredients, it could just be a bad batch, but three bad batches of lip balm in a row? Nooo. Please bring the OG back. I’m still a frequent user of this brand and will definitely come back to the “original,” if it is “original” again. Thanks for the years Burt’s Bees!

Been a fan for years. Just bought another 4 pack to replenish my lip balm stations (night stand, purse, work etc) and noticed the cap is so much easier to get off. Nice change!

I tried Burt's Bees lip balm for the first time two or three months ago, and it is now my go to. I love the natural ingredients, and my lips feel so soft and smooth. My dentist also told me that Burt's Bees is one of the best lip balms on the market because it has natural ingredients. I would 100% recommend other people to try this lip balm. I bought this lip balm after doing a bit of research, I've had terribly chapped lips for years. When I first applied this product my lips stung like crazy and I thought oh no, have I made a mistake? Turns out my lips only stung for the first few applications because they were so damaged - this product was finally moisturising and cooling my lips. Within two days, my lips are completely healed - like magic. No other product as work this great. I am in love. THANK YOU
