How to write a very positive review without it looking like fake one. Here goes. My first spiralizer was the common plastic sort which produced good spirals but was problematic for a number of reasons (it was huge and took up a lot of space, the feet fell off, it was right-handed only and I'm left, cleaning was arduous) and then the plastic pins that keep the veg in place during spiralling broke off when working with butternut squash (built in obsolescence). Pretty hopeless. Reviews of electric ones were not encouraging and they were also huge.
But this one is ideal - metal and durable, small and discreet, can be used right or left-handed, easy to clean. Made the way things should be made - and not bad for the planet with heaps of plastic (did you know all plastic ever made is still around somewhere). Produces lovely spirals from all sorts of vegetables - I use it every day.
