Saw John Payne and Asia for the 40th anniversary of the album Asia and 30th anniversary of Aqua. Very energetic and well layed out songlist, Loved what was played off of Aqua and the fact that they did Asia in its entirety minus one song backwards. Saw at Ram's Head Live in Annapolis and got yo meet John after the show and had my original vinyl signed. He was very personable and the bad fabulous. I will definately go see them again if they come to the east coast.
We had a great time, love the venue That's the best Asia cover band I have ever seen. great show
Amazing vocals, great energy ans.super.nice lead singer with photo op
I don’t realize that it’s going to be with not some of the original members and Payne. Should be named John Payne and his band performing ASIA.
John Payne played very few songs from Asia's early 1980's years. Disappointing. Band member supporting him were not good at all. Their playing was lackluster and showed little joy in the performance. I've seen original Asia on tour and they are worthwhile.
Asia had put on a good stage performance/ setlist before journey took the stage.
This was a very special concert and tribute to the great John Wetton. Unforgettable performance by Asia. The video tributes interwoven with superb music made for great evening.
What a Beautiful Tribute to a Musical Genius - John Wetton This Celebration was so emotional for both the audience and the Band Asia. Learned so much about the Asia and John Wetton on a personal level. Really put a human touch (their people just like you and me) to these Rock Stars Very much a healing show for all. Was very glad my husband and I went. Would highly recommend. The Concert part of the show as amazing. I don't know how they all got thru the evening! But fantastic show. Thank you Asia - Rock & Roll Forever John!!!
What a great show. While of course the vocals weren't the same as the albums, the rest of it was pretty much note for note and brought me right back to being in college again. Carl Palmer is in amazing shape for a guy his age. It was also cool to see Ken Dashow interview everyone after the show.
