5.0 out of 5 stars Tasty
I got the book for free and just by reading it, made me want to start immediately cooking. So thank you for making me do it. It's awesome.

5.0 out of 5 stars The love of flavours and the sharing of good food sparkles in this little taster..
..but, be warned, these recipes are not included in the full version.
I tried the slow cooked lamb with cumin and fennel. (The full version of the book spells out that the oven temperature is for a conventional oven, so reduce by 20C for a fan). The accompanying sauce needs cooking down a lot so allow time for that. The lamb was tender and still v slightly pink after 4hrs of cooking....(2kg on the bone joint) although not 'falling off the bone', for some reason mine never is and I wonder how long one has to cook it for to get to that point!
I also tried the barley, feta and spinach salad but substituted 150g faro for barley and added a little tarragon and pomegranate seeds. Absolutely delicious.
As you can tell the taster worked. I'm now salivating over the full book.

Some bright and different ideas here, hence the five stars. Can't wait to try the thousand layer cake. Works well on my phone kindle which is important.
