[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter, who is 11, was hesitant about this doll at first. She thought she was too old for it. Then it came in the mail... she LOVES it. 

It was packaged very well.  It didn't come with batteries. The directions were easy to understand. 

What she likes: Luvabella "learns" and responds. It is a fun doll to play with, and I've even gotten  to babysit. Her 7 year old Star Wars obsessed brother likes it too. I like you can turn it off when not in use. 

What she doesn't like: the facial skin is an older style rubber. It is necessary because of the doll's facial movements but is harder to keep clean. This is a very expensive doll, and for the price point we expected nicer clothes. The accessories are okay, but maybe selling more options like clothes and accessories would encourage more brand loyalty.

Totally awesome for a little girl who loves babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There couldn't be a more perfect toy for my 5-year-old daughter at this moment. She's very nuturing and motherly and loves playing with her dolls and playing make believe with all of her toys and figurines. The fact that this doll responds to things like covering her eyes or tickling her feet just elates my daughter! The accessories like the pacifier and bottle are great too, my daugher loves to feed and care for her new baby. I have a feeling we will be bringing this doll every single place we go, just like a real baby. As a mom, it's great to have a toy that keeps my daughter happy and entertained that doesn't involve staring at a screen!

Such a Fun Doll for My 5-Year-Old!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughters have had the luvabella doll for about 2 weeks and they are absolutely in love. The doll has a multitude of sensors throughout out its head and body which allows you to interact with it in many ways. For example she will respond when you tickle her feet, falls asleep when you recline her and even responds to a game of peekaboo. The doll comes with 4 accessories which are easy to use and the doll responds to them consistently and so far without hiccups, which is nice. Also, the doll has a softer rubber face which allows her to move her face when she responds, I can't tell you how excited the kids were about that, they spent a lot of time pinching her cheeks! The only downside I can speak of is the mechanics of the doll are a little loud and she is a little top heavy, but my 2 year old and 5 year old don't seem to care. They absolutely love this doll and have yet to lose interest . The doll also seems to change it's responses the more you interact with it, so my girls feel like they are discovering something new about her every time they play with her. Overall, it's an adorable doll!

This baby doll is amazing. However, my daughter enjoys playing with the less expensive dolls like Baby Alive.

Just save some money and get a Baby Alive

Our first luvabella that came Christmas Day lost an eyelash by Christmas night.  HEr face started to have holes a week later. We exchanged. Our second doll also lost an eyelash.  As well there were lines on the face and neck and it looked like it was not going to last long. Doll is expensive and would expect it to withstand kids playing with it. Disappointment.

Did not work.  Called the 800 number and after telling me to turn the A button back and forth which did not do anything they hung up on me.  I will return it to Walmart and will not buy toys that are made out of the country.

My daughter received this doll Christmas and has treated as if it was her real baby. She really loves this toy!  Unfortunately, hasn't even been a year and the doll is not holding up with child's play. Doll has holes all over face and head...both eye lashes fell out (those came off about after a month), hair rubbing off and head is stuck in one position!

We bought this baby and the Quality sucks. you would think the price of this doll would be put together better.

Very poor quality hair peeled off almost Immersion after opening the box. Manufacturer does not stand behind their product. After multiple emails and calling I still have yet to get help. Not made for a careful 5 year old!
