Be sure to disconnect the wires that connect Elsa doll to Snowflake remote, then add batteries to Snowflake. At first I thought the wires stayed on and I was disappointed, but you're supposed to pull and discard the wires. They just make the "Try Me" mode work in box.

First let me say my granddaughter who is 4 picked this doll.
Christmas Day, she opens the gift, we take out of box, the doll falls out of her hand and she grabs the nearest thing to stop the doll from falling the wire.  The wire breaks and we can't get it back in and the doll does not work. So MeMe looks on internet and lo and behold the wire is supposed to be removed. Batteries put in the star and whala the doll starts working. AND IT IS GREAT!!! Way past expectations, no brainer operation. It is great. 5 stars definitely!
So you parents out there who cannot get the doll to work, remove the wire and put batteries in star.

I have to laugh at some of you people who posted about the wires. The wires are only for the store, its for the "try me". When you take the doll home. You take the wires off and put 3 triple a batteries in the snowflake. 

The doll isn't broke because of that wire lololol!!!!

Very adorable for my twin granddaughters!

I bought this for my granddaughter and I am sure she will love it.  I haven't had a chance to see it, but will shortly.

Elsa doll

I would not buy this. This was bought for us for my little girl. The doll and wand will not sync up. I will wave my hand over the wand and it won't do anything. We have it on the correct settings too. The company (JAKKS) won't do anything about it. They want us to pay to ship it to them for them to repair it.
