My daughter received this as a Christmas gift and from grandma and she loves it. She saw it in the store and feel in love when she woke up and say it under the tree.  It connects to my iPhone and her tablet so that's a plus when she wants to listen to music. I recommend this for little girls that love to sing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am super pleased with this karaoke machine and quite impressed with the speaker volume.  I have to admit that I'm 33 and I'm totally jamming out to my mixed cd on this machine with the lights flashing!  I got this machine for my 7 year old nephew who loves the movie.  I thought this would make a great Christmas gift for him but wanted to try it out first and make sure it worked before I gave it to him.  I have to say that I wouldn't mind keeping it for myself as a fun backup stereo.  The volume is great and the microphone works well.  You can adjust the volume of everything to make it work for what you need.  It can be a regular stereo or an actual karaoke machine.  I love the flashing lights which are great at night but you can turn them on and off.  It says you can play cd-g but there is no screen to display lyrics.  This is totally fine with me because I doubt he would really be reading the lyrics anyways.  The actual size is quite compact and lightweight.  Easy for small kids to handle and easy on bring with you to sleepovers or events where you need a karaoke machine handy.  The light makes a frame around the front and also serves as a handle.  Everything is included.  I as able to plug it in and get it working right away.  Space for 2 mics in case you want to compete for best vocals.  Capable of holding batteries but the plug works just fine.  It also comes with a cd-g which is just the music without words but would work on a machine that had a tv display to show the words.  It looks like you can hook this up to your TV so that might work.  Overall I'm impressed with how well it works and I think my nephew will be happy to have this as a Christmas gift.
