After many years of service my badger brush was wearing out. In need of a new brush and not wanting to spend upwards of one hundred dollars again for a new brush I started asking around the shaving blogs for recommendations. There were lots of recommendations, but these brushes kept coming up as probably the best synthetic brush you could buy. I bought this brush, I was surprised by the size of it, it is quite large, I had to make a stand to hold it as it would not fit any of the ones that I have. That being said, the performance and comfort match the size of the brush. It is soft and comfortable with good backbone and produces a great lather. If you are in need of a very affordable brush that performs way beyond it's price point, then I suggest you give these brushes a try. RazoRock also make brushes in a standard size which I also bought for travel, and the performance is outstanding. I can't say enough about these brushes, they must be tried to really appreciate the value and performance.

Great feel, great performance, great value, so-so appearance, and needs a large drying stand.
I've paid more than twice as much for brushes that weren't as nice as this. The knot isn't just huge. It's also very densely packed. This gives it better water retention than other synthetic brushes I've tried. In fact, it retains water so well, that I can't shake it dry, and need to gently brush it over a dry towel before I put it away. The tips of the bristles are very soft, and did not need a break in period. The backbone is a little less than I'm used to, so it feels less scrubby on the face, but still stiff enough to whip up a bowl full of lather easily. I've been using this brush for about five months now. The first couple times I used it, it shed a few hairs, and then stopped shedding completely. I've tried a lot of synthetic and badger brushes, and I think these Plissoft bristles can match or beat the performance of any brush in a similar price range. The bristles are colored to resemble badger hair, and the resin handle has a fake wood grain appearance. Personally I think this brush would look a little better with solid colored materials instead of the fake natural look. A brush this good should be proud of what it is, instead of trying to look like something it's not. Storing this brush properly can be a little tricky because of the size. That handle is about 1.25 inches at its narrowest point. Most brush stands on the market have openings closer to one inch and there's not a lot of stands on the market that will let you hang it by the handle. You can hang it by the part where the handle meets the bristles. That part is just a little bit bigger than an inch. I was just barely able to squeeze mine into an Oak Leaf stand, and I had to apply a bit of pressure to force it in there. RazoRock also makes a universal stand that is supposed to hold their oversized brushes.

The handle of this brush feels very high quality and sturdy, it has some weight to it too which is fantastic. The brush itself feel wonderful and full, and it generates a great lather.
My only issue with this purchase is that the box arrived just as shown in the picture. Opened on both ends with the sticker torn up, and tears in the box itself. While this isn’t a massive issue, I am not positive if the damaged packaging could impact my ability to return the product.

He leido en foros que se compara mucho a las brochas de super alta calidad de pelos de unicornio, solo que cuesta una fraccion de lo que aquellas, aunque personalmente nunca he utilizado una de tejon de puntas plateadas (silvertip badger).
Hace espuma como ninguna otra que he utilizado, no hay ni punto de comparación. La espuma que hace (con un jabon apropiado como el Arko Shaving Soap, uno de los mas economicos que si sirven) es densa, y cuando la frotas en tu cara es como acariciarte con un puño de nubes.
Increible. Otro nivel. Comprala, no lo pienses. Hazlo. Ya.
