Could be so much better
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This phone is built very solidly and looks and feels much more expensive than it is. The display and camera quality are also better than you'd expect for the price. Nobody would mistake it for a Galaxy S9 or iPhone X, but they might think you paid twice what you did or more. Nokia is also one of the few Android OEMs promising regular security updates for non-flagship devices. The Nokia 2 comes with Android 7.1, and an update to 8.1 is expected soon. In this price range, any updates at all are pretty rare, and major version upgrades virtually unheard of. This shouldn't be the case, but since it is, kudos to Nokia for doing what everyone else should. It has a huge battery that can easily last for two days of regular use. Why, you might be asking, after all of this praise, have I rated this phone two stars? Unfortunately, though there's really only one issue with the phone, it's a big one. It's slow. Really slow. Almost unusably slow. It has 1 GB of RAM, and that simply isn't enough. Opening one app is often enough to force the launcher (home screen if you're not familiar with Android) to close due to lack of memory, resulting in a blank screen after the home button is pressed before everything reappears. Seconds tick by when attempting to do nearly anything. I attempted to use this in my car with Android Auto, only to find that apparently running Maps and Android Auto at the same time was too much for it - the maps kept blanking out, making navigation an impossibility. And this was with no apps installed beyond what came with the phone and Android Auto itself. I can't imagine how it would perform with more apps installed and trying to run in the background. In short, unless you have absolutely minimal needs - in essence using this like a feature phone - it's not going to be pleasant. There are phones with 2 GB of RAM that cost only a bit more. Unfortunately, they're not Nokias, so they're going to rarely see software updates and are going to feel cheap. But they'll be usably fast, and that's apparently the best you can hope for in this price range. Nokia, if you added another GB of RAM and either charged a bit more or knocked down the materials quality a bit, you'd have a five star device for the price. Unfortunately, RAM was the wrong place to cut costs.

more that what you pay.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great phone for under $100. It a tuff durable phone. It can go head to head with some phone that are $200. You can expand storage and have 2 sim cards at once. Don't look for quick responsiveness because of 1gm ram . Other than that the phone is very surprising at some of feature u get for under $100.

It's a great spare, but that's about it...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Keep in mind that this phone is only $100, so you really can't expect too much out of this thing. Out of the few weeks going on towards a month's time of using this phone as my daily driver, I have to say that it started out with loving the phone. I love how solid it feels, I love how nicely it fits in my pocket, and the battery really does last for two days, which is quite amazing to say the least. Call quality is pretty good too! With that said though, the phone does not get off Scot free without it's cons. Such as the phone's lagginess. It gets really frustrating after a while. Do not expect to get anything done quickly with this phone. Don't expect to do a lot of multitasking with this phone either. The processor can't handle too many things running at once, so apps will crash if there's just too much running in the background. However, when it comes to making calls/sending texts, it has never failed to do either one of those things. So it at least does regular phone things flawlessly. If you are looking for a spare/backup phone, or looking to get your child their first smartphone, then by all means pull the trigger. At this price point it's hard to say no. But if you're looking for a phone to use every day, I would probably spend a little more money and purchase the Nokia 6 or the Nokia 8.

Nokia is back! NOKIA 2 4G LTE dual SIM
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This affordable, light and small cell phone shows that Nokia should have adopted Android a while ago. The phone is superb in his price range, dual SIM and memory card bays all together, excellent screen definition, empty of bloatware. I love this phone, I hope new products from the great Finnish design team.

good, but too little memory
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The phone is a great product for the money, but too slow, in part because it has so little RAM. I constantly need to remove programs because i run out of memory

It’s ok for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.HMD is doing the Nokia name proud with the Nokia 8, 7 Plus and 6.1. The Nokia 2....we’ll not really. A snapdragon 212 paired with 1 GB of ram makes it rough to use. It’s slow and long to load apps. Once loaded they run ok, but don’t expect multitasking with them. The screen is great, battery last long and looks like it cost more than it did. I got this on sale, with a reward zone certificate with it so I paid almost half. For that price you can look past the short comings, especially if this is your kids or parents first smart phone.
