I believe you shop on walmarts page on google express. https://express.google.com/express/search?m=8175035 makes sure you're logged into the same account your have linked to your google home. I didn't get the deal so I can't say for sure.

Had same issue , just called Google Home support at 855-971-9121 and give them your serial number of your mini is on box and bottom of unit , and credit was put on the account thru google express account that you set up.

Using your voice, ask the Mini, "hey google, what's my name?" If it responds correctly, your account is linked.
Wait a full day.

I had no problem using it.  I ended up buying some household items for about $25 or so, and I only had to pay for tax.

As far as I am aware you don't. You needed to purchase it from the google express website do get the $25 gift card.

Redeem the offer by linking your google account with with your Walmart account. Then go to Google Express, select items worth $25 or more and check out. You should see the $25 under promo codes.

First, go to Google Express after buying (express.google.com) and then scroll down to the "Shop by Store" section. Click on Walmart. Next, at the top of the page, it should have a button in blue saying "Link Account". Then, enjoy $25!

Yes, you can use this device with a Smart TV.

The Google home mini can control your smart TV if it is an Android TV, or a Roku TV. You can also use a Chromecast, which just plugs into your TV, and can be controlled by the mini.

Depending on the Smart TV you use, it can control basic functions of the TV like opening apps, and changing the volume. Currently, the only two smart TV OS's I know of that works are Roku TV's and Android TV's, but their may be more.
