About

MIGOS IN CONCERT:

Southern hip hop trio Migos is quickly making a name for themselves with their swagged-out personal style, high-energy performances, and catchy singles like "Versace". Taking the stage donning sunglasses, backpacks, and plenty of bling, the rappers cut a stylish group as they get the crowd bouncing to popular songs like "Hannah Montana" and "Flight Night". Whether they're freestyling between tracks or hyping up the crowd with call-and-response vocals, Migos always brings the party on their can't-miss tours.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Georgia-based hip hop trio Migos began releasing mixtapes in 2011, but they didn't hit the big time until they released their track "Versace" in 2013. The track quickly went viral, cracking the Billboard 100 and landing on the year-end lists of numerous media outlets including SPIN, which named it the fifth best song of the year. The track ended up on the 2013 mixtape Y.R.N. (Young Rich Niggas), a critically acclaimed effort that landed on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and brought the group out on a nationwide tour. They've collaborated with such luminaries as Drake, Busta Rhymes, and Gucci Mane, and performed at several high-profile festivals including the 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival. In 2014 Migos dropped their mixtape No Label 2 to another round of critical praise, building enthusiasm among ticket buyers for their upcoming tour dates.

    Ehhh

    by Anonymous on 9/23/21

Love their music but performance wise… not a big fan. I watched them twice both at a drake concert different years . The second time I watched Migos performed I had a higher expectation for their set and performance but it had actually gotten worse .

    Migos and Me

by JenniferOhJenny on 4/26/19Dunkin' Donuts Center - Providence

I had the pleasure of seeing my favorite rap group perform live on stage @ the Dunkin Donuts Center ( my first visit there) I was very impress with the opening acts of Flip Dinero and 21 Savage. Unfortunately when it came time for the trio to hit the stage to my surprise i only had the pleasure of seeing only Quavo and Takeoff but no Offset. I was very disappointed because although i luv them as a group, individually i was looking forward to watching them perform some of their solo projects. But overall i had a really great time.

I thought there were 3 rappers in Migos

by Kaymo410 on 4/23/19Dunkin' Donuts Center - Providence

It would have been nice to know that 1 of the 3 rappers in Migos just wasn’t going to show up because he was at Coachella. I spent a lot of money on these tickets and expected the group to have the decency to show up. If you wanna go to Coachella, don’t schedule a show the same weekend. This was not ever acknowledged and on Kosseifi Entertainment Facebook page they still have not acknowledged it except in a rude comment to a patron who had the same issue I did. Will never go to a Kosseifi Entertainment event again.

Concert was amazing, but Offset was missing

by Birthday Boy on 4/23/19Dunkin' Donuts Center - Providence

The concert was so much fun! I went as a birthday trip with my girlfriend and a couple homies and we had a great time. The arena had a cool set up and I appreciate that the floor seat sections were labeled which made it easier to find out where we were supposed to be sitting and stake out our seats. The visuals were awesome and flowed well with the music. 21 Savage and the Migos were great performers. They had good flow, good energy, and really flashy jewelry which made for a cool scene. The only complaint I had about it was that Offset wasn't there and we were not informed. I think Quavo and Takeoff did a great job, but it's still noticeable when one of them is missing.

    Best show ever

by Ben NH on 4/23/19Dunkin' Donuts Center - Providence

Drove in to providence from manchester NH and by chance parked in front of the Dunkin Donuts center which happened to be a legal parking spot, SCORE! Got there early which allowed a visit to the Trinity brewhouse which was a short walk for a beer and delicious food. The venue itself was filled with friendly helpfull staff. The show itself was a wild time filled with great sound quality, great crowd with the right kind of vibe. Easily one of the best concerst i've been to in my life and at 43yo, i've been to a few. The one and only complaint fell on the lighting crew which had an over use of ultra bright white light being sporadically shot at the audiences eyes, not good considering 75%+ was smoking grass. Other than that A++++

    Confused

by Joe12 on 4/22/19Dunkin' Donuts Center - Providence

Confused on why we had to wait forever for the acts to come on and how the bathrooms were disgusting.

    Had higher expectations

by G on 4/22/19Dunkin' Donuts Center - Providence

Going into the show, I thought the night would be great! I had seen Migos before with Drake at the TD Garden and I loved their performance. However, this concert was different. The opening acts did better than I thought. 21 Savage did well and the crowd was having fun. What I didn’t like was that Hot 106 was used as a buffer in between sets. I love Hot 106 but I could tell they were doing everything to stall time. Then the group 112 also began stalling for Migos and I felt like they were thrown on stage every time Migos needed more time. Finally when Migos did come out at 10:30, Offset wasn’t even there!! And they didn’t even acknowledge the fact he wasn’t there!! The group played for maybe a half hour- which was also disappointing. I honestly felt like I didn’t get my money’s worth. But I still had fun, just expected more!

    Too much time between artists

    by T. V. on 4/22/19Dunkin' Donuts Center - Providence

the main acts were great but took an hour between artists to come out while having the DJ play. Too much time between artists put a total damper on the event

    Concert

by Gilly on 4/22/19Dunkin' Donuts Center - Providence

Doors opened at 7 and Migos didn’t come out until 10:30ish.... Offset did not even show up which was very disappointing. There should have been a cat walk for performers and the crowd was extremely small for the concert.
