    My beloved hairdresser, who specializes in Latina hair, recommended this to me a few years ago to keep my thick, coarse hair tamed and soft. It works like an absolute doll. Now, I am not nice to my hair, I am seriously rude to it. I dye it, I swim, I use heat styling, I yank it when I comb - but this stuff keeps my locks as strong as a rope and really shiny and healthy-feeling. Not to mention it smells absolutely divine! I'm on like my 8th bottle now, I've been using it for at least 5 years, and I still love it. What I usually do is apply it immediately after towel drying and then comb it through - focusing mainly on the roots. If I need a touch up for frizzies during the day I use a teensy little drop on the afflicted area. One word of warning - less is more with this stuff. I have a TON OF VERY THICK HAIR and I've still managed to make myself greasy by overdoing it with my oil before. Just use a sparing amount and focus on the most damaged areas and you'll be fine.
