I bought these flour sack towels to use for covering my sourdough starter and dough. They are the perfect size for fully covering a big bowl, and the breathability is really important for letting bread dough rise.

A must-have for baking sourdough!

I love these! They are large and very soft after a wash. They a super absorbent too! Great to use in place of paper towels. I'm buying another package and getting rid of a lot of my hand towels.

The best!

Flour sacks make the most effective towels for drying hair and wiping up in the kitchen. The towels themselves dry quickly when they get wet. I'm crocheting lace on the towels in this pack and giving them as Christmas presents.

I had these towels printed for a bridal shower. They turned out cute. I wish they were more rectangular shaped like a tea towel vs square. But they are nice:)

Wonderfully 100% cotton “towels” similar to what we wrapped fresh made bread in when I was a young girl 50 years ago.  They aren’t quite as thick (but the threads may gather in and be thicker after washing and drying, cotton often shrinks.  Rough sewn edges (as they should be for this type of product) - I still remember my mother talking about the printed Flour sacks that they made their clothes from after using up the flour from the mill.  These are perfect to drape over a sleeping baby on hot summer days to keep them comfy but not hot. I purchased these to clean up after my crafting (which leaves floods of inks and paints and glitters everywhere everyday.  If extras remain at Christmas they’ll be washed, maybe embroidered with a little holly leaf, wrapped around a plate of hot from the oven cookies or a loaf of fresh homemade bread, and tied with a jute twine and kraftpaper handmade tag for neighbors.  It is the simplest things that bring the fondest memories... and inexpensive to boot: 20 pieces for less than $15.

A Touch of Yesteryear

These are like cheesecloth, just in a large square. So l recommend these as a good quality cheesecloth; the reason for the 4 Stars.

Not the norm

these are the size of a bar towel but if you expect something thick you have another thing coming because they are not thick they are see-through thin but they are good flour sack cloth for the price. they're good for covering casseroles and food are good for wiping up dishes and runny noses you can even use them to clean the counters and and wipe down your stove with you can use them to strain things like cheesecloth they are good Rags there just in if you put them in a clothes washer don't use too much bleach or it will disintegrate quickly but I would recommend them
