    What a great book! It is like talking to a foodie girlfriend (and looking through her incredibly artistic Instagram feed) who has great fashion taste and has lived in Paris for a long time. You will get the info on all the cool places to see and all the great restaurants to visit. The concept of describing the kind of woman that would live in each of the main Paris neighborhoods and where she'd shop and dine is so fresh and innovative. You pick the type that you most closely associate with and then pick your Paris trip focus - brilliant! Having perused a crazy amount of guidebooks, this one is by far the best I have seen on Paris.

    Always looking for a different kind of travel book and this is the first I have absolutely loved. I loved this author’s writing style and the setup of the book by arrondisement. I got a ton of new ideas for my trip in the fall. My trips are heavy on food and shopping and this was great for that. Even though it’s a few years old, most recommendations were still in business. I read it all the way through and it made me even more excited to go to Paris. If you’re looking for a typical sights, museums, transportation guide book this is not it.

But its still a decent thickness. I am not such a fan of the matt thin paper used for the pages. I love high quality glossy paper and pictures for my books.
