    Unless you are living under a rock, you've noticed the adult coloring books rise in popularity. With so many of them out there, it's hard to know which one to pick. I enjoy coloring in these books, so I've been reviewing all different kinds to find the best ones.

    This is one of those "best ones". The binding and cover are thick, yet bendable so the book can be opened to color. The pages are of thick card stock style paper that makes bleed through impossible. I didn't even have any ghosting when I used markers. The first few pages consist of an introduction, suggestions, information on the various markers or pens to use, coloring techniques, and more. The coloring pages are of the various flower patterns that Vera Bradley has used. About half of the pages have flower quotes on them, in addition to the colors. At the back of the book are some note cards and gift tags that can be colored as well. In the beginning of the book are a few suggestions on how to use these. Overall this was a beautiful book that I've really enjoyed using. While this would make an excellent gift, I recommend getting two. You won't want to part with it.

    I love adult coloring and Vera Bradley!
    I ordered this in April and received it 2months later! THAT'S ridiculous! I didn't think it was ever coming. (It was only 12 hour drive away, it didn't come from outside the country.) I don't recommend the seller but the book looks great. The pictures are challenging. I won't finish these pictures in an hour.

    I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, but I had been thinking about getting started with coloring. Several of my friends have done so, and they say it is both fun and relaxing. Well, I am a Vera Bradley fan--with the company's reputation for beautiful colors and prints, it's only natural they expand into coloring books. I really appreciate the opening pages, which give loads of helpful advice about pencils, markers and gel pens as well as coloring techniques and color theory. There's also a color guide to VB's own prints if you want to recreate them exactly, but feel free to express your individuality. Many of the pages contain inspiration quotes like "It's a good day to have a good day." That inspiration will really stick when you spend time coloring the individual segments. Another nice aspect of the book is the gift tags and note cards, all ready for you to color and share with family and friends. I recommend this book for both beginners and advanced colorists.

    I'm a big Vera Bradley fan, so for them to come out with a coloring book is a perfect fit. Their libraries of patterns is a goldmine for a project like this! First, this book is gorgeous, even if you didn't color it at all, but you will want to color it. The pages are detailed and you will want to take your time. There's even a section in the beginning that discusses what tools and techniques you can use. My favorite part is the pattern guide that shows the full color patterns and the dates they were introduced, in case you wanted to copy the original colorways for framing, etc. A nice touch are the note cards and gift tags in the back. Overall this is a very well executed coloring book, certainly feels special and would be a great gift!
