My hair is long and quite fine but there's a lot of it. It has a natural curl/wave and goes frizzy when brushed. I've always struggled with curling wands on my hair as I find that the curls tend to have dropped out by the time I've finished my whole head and I just end up with straight hair. I decided to try these heated rollers instead to see if they would be a bit more successful in curling my uncooperative hair!
Luckily they do the trick and I've been really enjoying using them and trying out different styles. They're easy to use and great for the price point, imo. I leave them in until they've fully cooled down (approx 30 mins) and I apply some defrizz serum before use and a small amount of hair spray afterwards. The curls do start to drop out later on in the day, but for me that's a huge improvement to the mere minutes they take to drop out when using curlers.
My only annoyance is there are fewer hair clips than there are rollers (though it also comes with hair grips). Also, because I have long hair they can be trickier to roll up and sometimes get tangled when taking them out but think that should improve as I get better at using them.
Overall would recommend to anyone who has hair similar to mine and struggles with curling wands.
