Our stay at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef was amazing! Our first time in The Maldives, we had started out the trip with a few days in Male. Sun Siyam had offered free seaplane transfers for stays for 4 nights and more, and this was arranged from the hotel we were checking out from, to the airport, and to Sun Siyam. We were welcomed by our designated host for the stay – Sopa – who provided all information we needed, and kept in touch with us throughout the stay. We had booked a bed and breakfast option, and the in-villa dining was good for meals in the villa when we preferred to stay indoors. The buffet-style dining for dinner was great. The staff was very friendly, we had welcome drinks on arrival, and the villa was more than we could imagine. We had access to the beautiful ocean and went kayaking on one afternoon. We had a chance swim by with a baby shark and saw dolphins while watching the sunset. Our agent and housekeeper made the stay special.

I stayed here with my family of 5 in the amazing Grand water villa with direct access to the seaview. The pool in the back was very private, and the living area served as a second bedroom. Housekeeping twice a day was a real luxury. Excellent selection of food at the breakfast and dinner buffets (we were half board). The fresh fish was the highlight of my day. The snorkeling at the hotel is out of this world. There are loads of beautiful reef with thousands of small fish, plenty of turtles, dolphins, sting ray, sharks (harmless) etc etc etc! The spa was very good, and very relaxing. Although it was a bit expensive. Lastly, we would like to thank the staff at the hotel. They are extremely friendly, polite and attentive. We even maned to use the baby sitting service, while my wife and I went out to the night entertainment. I would definitely recommend the hotel. Probably my favourite hotel ever!

liked both beach and sea villas- great design and comfortable to stay. As for the beach villa- at night you can seat at your own small garden/area and gaze the stars (no insects to disappoint you), as for the sea villa it was amazing experience, not that loud sound from the waves as we expected- amazing view and peacefulness. Also reef and sea life was worth exploring. Special thanks to mr.Jiji who made everything for the stay to be amazing. In a very professional and welcoming manner.

Each beach vila has its own privacy. We stayed in deluxe beach vila - for us the best choice as my wife could do sunrise yoga there and we had a direct entrance to the ocean. There is an absolutely amazing reef with a lot of fish, beautiful corals and other sea creatures. We loved our beach vila, it was very comfortable and practical equiped and always super clean as we had the best housekeeper that we have met so far (and we have already traveled the world and stayed in many 5* hotels and resorts). So we would like to send our many special thanks to Babul - he is such a kind person, always smiling, always saying some nice words to us, always profesional, taking care of our needs and wishing a nice day to us. Great job, thank you! We enjoyed the delicious food and last but not least delicious fresh coconuts at the beach during beautiful sunsets.

Our stay at Sun Siyam Vilu Reef was perfect. I can surly say - that is the best experience we had in any resort we have ever been. Everybody on the island is so friendly and will gladly spend few minutes with you to make your day even better. All the food was so delicious we couldn't get enough of it and there was so many choices you can try so many different things. The reef of the island is so beautiful we saw almost all types of fishes there. We also had joined one morning dive and a manta safari which were so worth it. Everybody in the diving centre is such a professionalist and you can be sure whatever you choose to have with them it will be great experience. Our vila attendant Arun had also made our stay so special with making sure everything is perfectly clean and also making some decorations in the room.

Exceeded our expectations. There were a few minor mishaps along the way, but the resort and its very accommodating staff made sure to either rectify them or adjust accordingly. Sure a place where you could imagine going back again in the future.
