It is not possible to perform a bench press exercise lying directly on the floor because the exercise requires the bar to be lowered to the chest resulting in the elbows dropping below the plane of the back.

Can I use this stands for benchpressing lying directly on a floor without using a bench?

What is the lowest setting to lower for bench press?  I have a 14 inch Bench and not sure I will be able to reach on the lowest setting

The stand itself is not heavy, but pretty stable when I put the barbell ( 60lbs) on it.

Good stand

This was cheap with free shipping and it got to me a week early. I've used it for the past week and it's great. It doesn't take up a lot of space and it's sturdy. Put it together correctly and there won't be a problem. I didn't expect it to be high enough for me to do squats, but it goes higher and holds well. Haven't had a problem with it yet.

Does The Job

Arrived much faster than expected! Very solid, stable and was pretty easy to put together. Much more sturdy than a cheaper one a friend bought. Im very happy with the purchase.

Sturdy and Worth the Money

The assembly is easy but you need the correct wrench which is not mentioned in the instructions.  I had to email the seller and then received the information promptly.  With correct wrench it was easy to assemble.  The Rack works great for my small space.  I can easily store it away in the closet after exercise.

works as advertised.  pretty easy setup.  would suggest loading the finished structure with some weights and loosening/retightening the bolts.  this will help level the feet even if the floor is uneven.  the unit will carry a heavy load in the vertical direction, but will tip if heavy weights are thrown at the top bar rests.  the two stands can be positioned to accomodate a 5 foot bar (Olympic bar is not necessary) and can be set far enought apart to allow access for doing squats.  the unit arrived with a couple of broken plastic sleeves.  the packaging did not protect these parts from the somewhat heavy metal parts.  unit works fine without the sleeves.  good price.

The rack does a good job for the price paid.  It would have been nice if the Barbell supports were more rigid once inside the support sleeves, but does a good job for what it was intended for.

Design is bit weird because you have to step over the feet to squat but it works n it has the safety Barbso very  basic but good temporary investment to get going getting swoll

The rack pins used to adjust the spotter arms are screw-in, rather than quick release. The screw-in pins are unevenly cut which makes it difficult to screw in past half-way, even with WD40. 
One of the four legs also came severely bent which causes a wobble. Granted, it works as described. However, I wouldn't trust it to hold the described max load due to the wobble.

All of that said, you get what you pay for. For the price, it's an okay low-tier rack.
