waste of money!

I have owned a Dyson DC27 for 20 years. It's a beast and I love it. At 66 with bursitis it was getting hard to use it as it is heavy and the hose was starting to deteriorate. When I saw this lighter version with the extra allergy protection I was excited and the price was unbelievable. At first it seemed like a wise purchase. I have mostly wood floors with area rugs so it should be easy. I was very sorry I bought it. It picks up terrible! Is a clumsy pain to get to stand up and putting the hose back is a real chore. Honestly, if it had the expected suction of a Dyson I could live with the other complaints but it just plain does not pick up. I thought maybe it was clogged but can't find a clog. I shoved it in a closet and went back to the heavy one but now I just can't handle the weight of that one. I went out of town and missed the return date.. A big waste. I wish someone had warned me so I'm posting this belated review so someone else doesn't get burned on this model.

Great Vac

I had a larger Dyson Animal for 8 years and wanted a new one. I love this smaller one and the price is so reasonable. It is easy to move, easy to store and works great on thick carpet and hardwood floors. The cord is short but all the positives far out weigh this one negative. Love it!!

A Must Have

Easy to assemble. It comes with some very nice attachments for dust or vacuuming your mattress/furniture. And it’s very powerful yet light weight. My grandmother has three Dyson vacuums, my mother has this exact same one, and now I’m hooked too.

Amazing Product

Take advantage of the sale! This vacuum is amazing! It’s not too loud and has strong suction. Very lightweight and easy to use. Extra long electrical cord. The canister is not too small. I vacuumed a stairway, hallway, two bedrooms and still had room for more. I have two cats and recently moved into a plush carpeted house that had two large, hairy dogs prior to us moving in. Let me say, the house was hairy! Even the air vents were clogged with hair. This vacuum worked perfectly to get rid of all the remaining hair with such ease!!!! I actually SMELL the clean difference in our house!!! Plus, you don’t have to buy and replace the air filter - just wash it! So great! The only con so far is the stiffness of the collapsible hose - my old vacuum had better maneuverability with the vacuums hose than this one does BUT it still did the job for me! Can’t complain! Will recommend to my family members and friends, especially with this 42% sale! Also, shipping time frame was accurate via FedEx.
