Great kayak and paddle. Suggest you buy paddle drip ring to help prevent water running down your paddle getting you wet, but everything else is wonderful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first and best kayak I own. It is so confortable to sit in, very stable (I can sit sidesaddle to reach something in the back without any problem).
It may not be a fast kayak, but it tracks very good when you paddle. And the plastic back support makes a world of difference!
Also, Lifetime Customer Service is AMAZING if you ever have any question they WILL help you!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this kayak in late summer last year. After having it out in various ponds lakes and rivers I must say, this is A solid "sit-on" kayak!   Its features are utilitarian and very well placed and functional. (I have another identical LIFETIME kayak that I ended up adding all of the same fishing pole features to...) 

Also, I feel it's relevant to mention, both times I have called Lifetime for parts (crushed stern carry handle & scupper plugs) they have immediately sent me the products free of charge!

One Solid Kayak

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this Kayak. I'm a bigger person and I use this primary for hunting waterfowl. It is very stable and I can even take my adult son with me! Fits in the back of my Chevy pickup and I can load it by myself.

Great Kayak for bigger person

Purchased this kayak about a year ago and have used it nearly 20 times on several lake and rivers. Could not ask for a better fishing kayak. It's reasonably priced, very stable and has plenty of room for all my gear.  Lifetime is a great company as well.  I contacted them after I unfortunately did not screw my storage cap on tightly enough and it flew off during one of my trips.  With no questions asked they are sending me a new one free of charge! Plan on buying my next kayak from them in the future.

Awesome Kayak!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Kayak about 9 years ago and although I haven't used it for a few years, it doesn't disappoint. Very sturdy and great for small lakes. Have used it fishing, since that's what it is intended for, but mostly just for cruising and enjoying the scenery. It is a bit heavier kayak, but that's what also makes it more sturdy. Easily holds someone who is 225lbs with no problems at all. Customer service has been great. I lost one of the hatch covers and looked for a replacement online, but couldn't find one that size. Contacted Lifetime and they are able to ship one out to me... super easy and quick. Even after being in outside storage for 3  years, a little bit of cleaning and it's as good as new. Can't wait to get it back in the water.

Great Sturday Starter Kayak

For a beginner kayaker, for the price, its a great starter kayak.  I have added a modifications and it is very comfortable and looking forward to many fishing trips.

Excellent buy

Love the Tamarack, but had to be delivered twice with the first one having a hole in the hull, totally inoperable, and the second delivery was damaged and scuffed all over the side and top.  Since it would float, I took delivery, but very disappointed in the two different shipping companies used by Walmart.  The boat is great, just wish Walmart compensated me for a non-new condition product.

Great boat, damaged on delivery-TWICE!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely heavy but stable.  Takes 2 people to carry. Motor mount was wobbly but I put a strip of rubber between the bracket and the vessel which fixed it. It tracks like a snake with a motor on it. Overall happy with the purchase.

Decent kayak overall.

There are several part of the kayak has some kind damage ( scratch ). The price was good, and the shipping was quick.

This was the 3rd kayak we ordered.  We paid $77  to have it shipped.  We never got notified that the first one was shipping until we were asked how we liked it.  We never got it.  We ordered a second one and it was damaged so we sent it back.  This third one arrived damaged so we sent it back.  This was supposed to be my husband's Christmas gift so I ordered it in Oct.  Walmart still has our $77  in shipping fees so we either have to order a 4th one or ask for our shipping fee back.  The kayak might be great but the service is not!

Don't expect to get your kayak without damage!
