- Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2024I bought this book after my kindergartener read this book at school. He loved the book, so I got him the book as a surprise. It is a very funny book. I love reading it to my kids and Its also easy for my kindergartener to read it by himself
- Reviewed in the United States on July 15, 2024It took this adult a little bit to catch on. Love this book as did our grandson and will be holding on to it for him to hopefully read to his own children some day. Worth the purchase. You will love it!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 30, 2016This book is really fun. I bought this specifically for my third grade class to use for persuasive reading and writing. I used this at the close of their unit, they mostly worked on persuasive letters, so reading this and then writing a persuasive "essay" was a nice change and a challenge to apply their knowledge. The book at first read does not seem like it would work well for third grade as the text is easy and short and simple. I made up a worksheet for them to choose a side and write 5-7 sentences supporting their choice and trying to convince the reader to agree with them. After writing, they had to show me and be approved for moving forward and coloring in te picture at the top to be a duck or rabbit. I attached a picture of the worksheet I made and one completed worksheet that I was able to crop the name out of for privacy. My three year old also likes this book, so it's good for all ages and has many applications. Love it!

- Reviewed in the United States on June 25, 2023My second grade students enjoyed this book. We used it when we were learning about the character strength of "perspective." It is so important for them to believe there is more than one "right" way to see the world so they can still respect people whose opinions or perspective may be different from their own.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 20, 2024In Duck! Rabbit!, author Amy Krouse Rosenthal and illustrator Tom Lichtenheld present a playful and engaging exploration of perspective through a clever visual puzzle. The story revolves around the classic optical illusion of a duck that can also be seen as a rabbit, demonstrating how interpretations can vary based on one's viewpoint.
As the characters passionately argue over whether the creature is a duck or a rabbit, young readers are invited to join in the debate, fostering critical thinking about differing perspectives. The humor and playful dialogue make the book enjoyable for children, while the underlying message about the importance of understanding multiple viewpoints resonates with parents and educators.
Duck! Rabbit! offers more than just entertainment; it encourages discussions about right versus wrong and the value of letting go of stubborn arguments. This delightful picture book is an excellent addition to any child's library, encouraging reflection and engagement with the world around them.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2024Love this. Like when we were kids and saying what we saw in the clouds. One of us would see a duck... Ha. But seriously it is a very find memory of my childhood laying in the grass and staring at the clouds saying what we saw. No judgement just fun....

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved it
I bought this for my 3 year old, however both My 3 and 7 year old boys love this book. It’s been a firm bedtime favourite. We have had it a few weeks and they still change their mind on if it’s a duck or a rabbit.
My 3 year old will read it to me as it’s easy enough for him to remember the story.
Personally I found it very clever and cute. I haven’t got bored of reading it yet. I would definitely recommend
