1. What is the PMD Personal Microderm Device?

PMD Personal Microderm Device offers the technology of professional microdermabrasion without paying for high-priced treatments. With this unique tool, you can achieve spa-quality results from the comfort of your own home. This at home microdermabrasion treatment helps improve the look of acne, fine lines, dark spots, rough skin texture and other imperfections. Plus, it’s ideal for anyone with any skin type that wants to improve skin smoothness, softness and brightness.

2. How do you use the PMD Microdermabrasion Device?

Thoroughly cleanse your skin, ensuring it is free from all makeup, oil, dirt and debris. We recommend using the PMD Advanced Soothing Cleanser since it is specifically formulated to work with PMD skin care devices and treatments. For best results, allow clean skin to dry completely before treatment.

To start, you’ll need to connect the power cord to your PMD microderm device and turn the connector one quarter turn until it locks in place. Next, insert a disc by pushing the disc down firmly on the device’s post. Twist on cap, making sure to tighten the cap firmly against the black o-ring on the device. Check to make sure the disc is sitting slightly below the plastic cap.

On the first treatment, use the training disc on your neck to test how the skin will react to treatments from the personal microderm. This step does not need to be repeated beyond the first treatment. Use a free hand to pull the skin tight in the treatment area. Move your PMD Personal Microderm in an upward motion across the skin. Do not make more than two passes over any one area during treatment.

Following use of PMD microdermabrasion, use a toner to neutralize the pH balance of the skin followed by a recovery moisturizer. Let your skin recover. Wait six to seven days between treatments.

3. How do you clean a PMD microdermabrasion tool?

To properly clean your PMD microdermabrasion device, start by twisting the cap counter-clockwise to remove it. Pull the disc straight off and pull out the dark filter. Clean the cap and the disc with rubbing alcohol or an antibacterial soap. Next, you’ll clean the filter by running warm water over it and rubbing it between your fingers and thumb. Always remember to place the filter back in the device. For best results, replace the discs every two to four treatments.
