These shoes are wide and have a short toe box, and size labeled incorrectly. I wear a size 7 in almost every shoe, sneaker, boot. I had to order a full size up 8 to be comfortable. These are so wide I could easily wear the 6.5 or 7 with discomfort. My toes bumped the top and heels slip out the back in every size, however, to keep my toes from bumping I went to the 8. I have a narrow size 7 foot and these I need the 8 (which fits like a 7.5). You have to try these on. They look great with pants, skirts, and shorts. If you have high water pants they will work fine with these sneakers. They add very little hight and are not very heavy. The black works with everything, but they all have a synthetic leather look lining- that will be the first thing to go- but they look and feel sturdy.
