So this review is a long time coming. And the reason for that is that we initially purchased the cord in 2013 (December of 2013 to be exact) and only in this year, 2020 (it is currently April 15th, 2020 as I am writing this review), did the cord finally crap out on us and we needed to buy another one. 7 years of continuous use across MacBooks of different models and years, all with functional video AND audio (with one exception as noted).
All of these machines were being connected to an LG 42CS560 TV.
The first MacBook we used this cord with was a 2009 White Unibody MacBook, 13". The cord worked GREAT. Good picture, and the sound came through crystal clear. This machine was (and still is) running OSx Snow Leopard.
I then transitioned to a slightly newer machine and got a 15" 2010 MacBook Pro (non-retina display). The cord continued to work the absolute best--picture and sound both clear. This MacBook is currently running OSx High Sierra.
I finally transitioned to a slightly newer machine too, and got a 13" 2010 MacBook Air. To be clear, all of my other Mac machines still work (they're in storage right now) and I still used the cord with them while also owning this machine. The cord works with this one too (this is my current laptop), for both video and audio. This MacBook is currently running OSx High Sierra.
We also use the cord occasionally with a 2010 17" MacBook Pro (non-retina display) and the cord works well there too--it's just that for this machine it doesn't have audio coming through (I'm not able to select our TV as an output in system preferences whenever its plugged in for some reason), just video. We make it work when we need it for this particular machine. This MacBook is running OSx High Sierra I believe, either that or Yosemite.
Anyway, long story short, to summarize again, we used this cord continuously for 7 years across 4 different MacBooks, using it to connect each computer to the same TV, and it NEVER failed us. We didn't have buggy picture, our audio always came in crystal clear, and I was even able to use this cord while traveling, which made it absolutely incredible and a must-have in my technological arsenal! The only reason it crapped out on us was because *I* pushed it in a weird way when plugging it in about two months ago (February 2020, around Valentine's Day), not because the cord itself was faulty or malfunctioning.
Seriously, get this cord. It is a lifesaver for us and it will be a lifesaver for you. A great functional cord delivering exactly as promised, for an unbeatable price.

It Worked Great!... The First Couple of Times!
I was excited when I got this product in the mail and how well it worked the first couple of times that I used the cord. It used to display on the tv very well with great audio, but then one day it wasn't working. It was delivered to me October 21, 2017, and around December it was a bust. Waste of money. I would find myself adjusting the cord around just so I can have it display on my tv. DO NOT EVER BUY THIS PRODUCT FROM THIS COMPANY. Also the picture speaks for itself. - Unhappy Customer
