Cute book of 50 unique tongue twisters

Cute book of 50 unique tongue twisters
I downloaded the kindle version - so my review is based on that. This is a cutsie little book of 50 tongue twisters ranging from easy (2 words) to long paragraphs. Each page on the electronic version has 1 tongue twister and a cute picture (see my attached picture). This would be a fun little game for a long car ride or airplane ride with little ones. It was also fun because as a teacher, I've already heard tons of tongue twisters but this has new ones I'd never heard. Overall, cute little book if you're looking for a fun, family activity that's sure to cause lots of laughs! I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review.

This Kindle ebook provides an excellent selection of tongue twisters, together with fun pictures illustrating them.

In our modern, technological world full of computers and smart phones sometimes it's a relief to take a break from typing or texting to fall back on an old and simple idea like tongue twisters. These are just strings of words that don't easily go together soundwise that you have to try to say as fast as you can. The results can be hilarious.

Getting a group of kids together to try to say tongue twisters can provide them with great amusement. A competitive element can be introduced to enhance the enjoyment, and sometimes a young person who is no good at sports or school work will discover a hidden talent for tongue twisters that raises his or her self-esteem.

They also have more serious uses. For those whose native language is not English, they can provide excellent practice in pronouncing consonant and vowel sounds. Children with speech difficulties can also use them for practice when alone, and they may play a part in training young singers so that lyrics are heard more clearly.

And it's not just kids who love tongue twisters. They also make excellent ice-breakers for work gatherings or seminars, and are more sedate than most drinking games for parties.

So the next time the power goes, or you find yourself stuck in a room with a bunch of kids or adults you have to keep entertained, why not get them all to have a go at saying some tongue twisters?

This is so fun. These are super short little (mostly) one liner tongue twisters. When you have 3 kids, all at different language stages, books like these are great and tons of fun. The 12 year old and the four year old were sitting together going through the book saying each one to each other. Super cute.
I have heard a few of these before, and maybe one or two of them didn't really seem like tongue twisters to me. But the rest of these were great and even a few of them nice and challenging tongue twisting fun.
I love little books like these. Just long enough to keep the attention of the little kids.
I had fun saying them to my four year old and having him laugh at me because I couldn't get through some of them.

The opinions in this review are mine and mine alone.
I received this ebook for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

This book has quite a few tongue twisters in it for children. To me a lot of them were too common to really excite me. Also, I think the illustrations could have been better. If you're going to have one tongue twister per page you need more than just a little clip art to go with it

This was a great find! I was worried it might be a bit hard for my three year old son but I was very wrong! Me and him have had a blast trying to say these tongue twisters and I can see that it is helping him with his pronunciation, so he's learning while having fun! There are also lots of them in here that were hard for even me and I haven't heard of most of them. I definitely recommend this for kids to have fun while they're learning and even for the parents to get down and be silly with their kids for awhile, loads of giggles! So glad that I got to try this book for free, will definitely be on the lookout for more from this author!

É um livro de trava-línguas. Ocorre que é um trava-língua por página, com ilustrações bem bobas e muitas vezes repetitivos. Não vi muita graça e terminei em poucos minutos.

It has a tongue twister per page, many with repetitive words. I did not see much grace and finished in a few minutes.

I liked the different tongue twisters. I also enjoyed those little jokes at the end. I think it was very confusing in the good way, as I could not say a single tongue twister fast twice in a row. I think Riley Weber should definitely write more types of books like this.
