The listed dimensions are inaccurate. I received my baskets yesterday and they were considerably smaller than expected. The dimensions were 13"long, 10" wide and 7.5" tall. Basically, I ended up needing both baskets to fill where I expected one to fit. I decided to keep them and have ordered the Medium as well, hoping they are closer to the size I planned.

Yes, with the handles up. Otherwise it measures approx 9 inches.

Yes, that is with the handles extended up. Without the handles up, the highest part of the basket is approximately 8 1/2 inches.

It is not 17 inches anywhere. I just measured it liberally, and the most is 13 in. with the handles up. Width was 7.5 in. Very disappointing. I ordered one without the handles first, and thought the one with the handles would be a little larger. But it was not. However, it will work well in small spaces. The price is not bad.

I measured the basket as 8 inches high, with handles extended up it was about 14 inches.

I measure at most 14 inches with handles up, 10 inch wide at top and 12.5-13 inches long.

They fold down and I believe sit on the top of the basket.

The height listed is 17 inches, is that with the handles extended up?

Do the handles fold down to the sides. or are they solid?

I am going to hang these on my wall in the bathroom with with bottoms to the wall for rolled towel storage. These solved the issue I was having with other baskets as to how to mount them to the wall. The wire frame lends itself nicely to an easy solution! You may be surprised when this basket arrives that it is not black but a deep coppery brown. That didn't matter in my case since I am probably going to spray paint mine white to make them pop on the aqua wall. If you are set on black also purchase a can of paint or don't order these. The handles function very well but do not stay up on their own as pictured. Overall I am pleased with this purchase and also purchased the medium size as well.

I love this basket! I bought 2 of them to hold the extra toilet paper in 2 of our bathrooms and love them! I think I'm going to buy another one for the 3rd restroom! ...and $7.49?! can't beat that price!

Cute functional basket for the price

I love this basket, I bought two for my shelf and now I am buying two more, I love the way they look, perfect for books, or mail, or anything you want to store. Perfect size and I just think they are so cute!

I bought 4 of the medium and 3 of the small to use in my kitchen. I have not put them in place yet, but I love the look of them. The medium is a lot larger than I expected. the small is the perfect size or placing on cabinet shelves.

My wife wanted this basket for our guest bathroom makeover to hold the extra toilet paper rolls. She's very happy with how it looks and does its job.  It even has little plastic feet to protect the shelf surface, which she really appreciates.

These are well made with wooden handles to give an antiquey-look. They sit flat and true. All three were identical with no observable variances. They were well-packed for shipping and arrived quickly. I took out the muslin liners (which were just fine) and filled the baskets with my spice jars. We ordered these to hold marshmallows for our upcoming wedding [for a firepit]. It's larger than I expected and very cute! I wouldn't mind having more of these for bathroom or kitchen storage. They would look adorable holding fruits, veggies or soaps & shampoos.

I bought a Large and Small Chicken Wire Basket. I like keeping 'stuff' beside my living room chair...like magazines, books, journal, colored pencils and pens, etc. I have used baskets and other containers to keep these things organized and close by but they never were quite right. These baskets really fit the bill. The bottoms are flat, the sides are flat and just a slight angle which makes stacking my things sit up straight and stay put. I think it would make a good place to stack magazines, art supplies, books. Great simple product and a great price. I may order more to keep on hand for storing things in my art room and closets.

Just what I thought it would be...

We were looking for attractive, inexpensive baskets to use for a picnic luncheon for a bridal party during their hair and makeup prep time on the day of the wedding. I found these online, ordered, and picked them up later the same day. I was in and out of the store in under ten minutes. The portable luncheon was a hit and I am sure the baskets will have many future uses.,

Perfect Picnic Basket

Got these with my BHG Cubby type shelves. They are cute little baskets but waste a lot of space in the cubby. I was looking for storage, not a cute display. I went back and got the canvas fabric cubes (12.5x12.5x15") instead, and they fit the cubby more like a drawer. Although not quite as cutesy, they will be much more useful if you want actual storage.

These look used :-/ the liner is frayed in several places and has small pull marks. The coating over the metal is scuffed up and partially scraped off. Not very attractive at all...also..100% brown, not black.
