Samsung Chrome Book, like it so far

Light weight but works just like a lap top with limited abilities. So far the Chrome book works fine. It is not fast like a $500.00 to $1000.00 lap top but it is easy to read emails and respond on an actual keyboard using the Logitech wireless tablet which I also purchased the same day. You can see in photos the Samsung Chrome Book opened with the Logitech wireless tablet along side. Both excellent price at my local Best Buy.

Then I bought another one for my 13 year old son for school !! It was such a success with them I decided to buy one for my 8 year old daughter. They each love it !! Each of them are on it for hours. For either school or leisure!! It is super fast, light to carry, connects to WiFi quickly, great performance and quick access to all sites, secure browsing and surfing, and easy to use right out the box! We have no complaints. Thanks Best Buy !

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It is solid not flimsy.Screen is pretty good.Battery life is about 10 hours and it barely gets warm.I was leary at first since it has 2gb memory but I've had 7plus tabs open and no lag.Really impressed and I got it for $99.99 with student discount.I bought it as I have windows updates, having to buy a security suite that needs updates and windows is so buggy and glitchy too.With this I bought a 128gb USB.It just works and is very responsive.I love that I can view adult material and not worry about catching anything really.I hope that isn't TMI but that is what I mainly use it for.

- A:Answer When I bought this, I had an option to buy Office 365, which has Word. However, if you have a Gmail account, you can use Google Drive, which has Google Docs, which is Google's equivalent to Word. I have been using Google Doc's for several years, and the documents you produce from there are 100% compatible with Microsoft Word.

- A:Answer There are A Lot of different accessories that you can get for almost any Chromebook. This one is a Samsung Chromebook 3, only 2GB of RAM with a 16GB Hard Drive so pretty much the most basic Chromebook that Samsung makes. So it's more for school than anything else. Even though it's not as powerful as the Higher end Samsung models I do know that they can be attached to External Hard Drives and even mine comes with Bluetooth capability which is what I use when I'm at home. I also have it hooked up to a Higher Resolution not that it really needs it but I have some Visual impairments that I was born with. I do know that you can hook-up some an external BluRay Player and much more to any Samsung Chromebook. What I suggest is if it's a Samsung you're looking to buy? Go on BestBuy's website and maybe they have a support technician that can answer anything of a more technical challenge. However I do know their are other Chromebooks that come with Touchscreen and Pens but those are mostly Samsungs' Chromebook Pro's and I didn't have that kind of money to spend on myself this year so I really hope that you are able to find what you're looking for and that I've been able to answer or give you a little bit more information to make your selection. Also I would like to add that my Chromebook 3 is a refurbished model from Bestbuy and I couldn't be more comfortable & happy with it. They really gave me a SWEET DEAL.
