About the author

Based in Brooklyn, New York, New York Times bestselling author Charles Soule is a writer of novels (graphic and otherwise), comics, screenplays and stories of all types. He plays the guitar fairly well and speaks at least one language.
Born in the Midwest, he spent his early years in Michigan before moving to Asia, where he spent time living in Hong Kong, Manila and Singapore. Stints on the East Coast followed, before settling in New York (apparently) for the long haul.
He is the author of the novels ANYONE and THE ORACLE YEAR, published by HarperCollins' Harper Perennial imprint, as well as LIGHT OF THE JEDI, launch title for STAR WARS:THE HIGH REPUBLIC. In addition to novels, he is a prolific writer of comics, including many titles for Marvel, DC, Image and other comics publishers, such as Undiscovered Country, Death of Wolverine, She-Hulk, Darth Vader, Lando, Curse Words, Letter 44 and long runs on Daredevil, Swamp Thing and Inhuman. - Reviewed in the United States on December 26, 2018This was a nice finale to this story. The writer would suggest (spoiler alert) that Darth Sidious was Anikans father or influenced the midi-chlorians for the birth of Anikan but This is not canon from what I have read online. There was also suspicion, outside of the books/comics, that Darth Plagueis the Wise influenced the mini-chloians for Anakins birth, again, not really canon. Canon for SW seams to be ever changing since Disney took over. I try to follow the time lines in the beginning of each SW books to verify the background and what is truly legitimate.
Overall, well written story taking fans to a different chapter in Vader’s tourment with the outcome as expected. A good read if you like comic books. I would recommend this issue.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2019I can tell you this, I never expected Vader (spoiler alert) to have actually hid the secret to Papatine that he knew that Palpatine inluenced the force to create Anakin or something like that. Personally, I always thought Darth Plaeuguos created Anakin. (I probobly didnt spell that right) Think about it, if Darth Plaegous created Anakin, that would explain why he's so powerful, assuming that he is supreme leader Snoke, which Disney bassicly addmitted. Overall, this is a good book. I would reccommend this series to any star wars fan.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 25, 2018I had high hopes for this issue but it was slightly confusing like was it saying Palatine was Vader's father by using some ancient sith magic or what?
Overall I'm disappointed in the last issue of this great comic series.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 8, 2019Not great nor very interesting I felt it lacked the impact of a dark type of ending for Vader in this comic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Muito bom para entender a mente de DarthVader
