Teen Suicide are an American indie rock band from Baltimore, Maryland composed of Sam Ray (guitar, lead vocals, synths), Sean Mercer (drums), Nick Hughes (bass) and Kitty Ray (vocals). Originally formed as the solo project of Sam Ray in 2009, Teen Suicide released several EPs and compilation albums before issuing their full-length debut, i will be my own hell because there is a devil inside my body, in 2012. After a brief hiatus in 2013, the band reformed and released the single “Pavement,” which was featured on Topshelf Records’ 2014 digital label sampler. In 2015, the band signed to Run for Cover Records and released remastered and expanded editions of their full-length debut album, and 2012’s EP DC Snuff Film and and Waste Yrself, which were released as a single album. In 2016, they released their second album, It's the Big Joyous Celebration, Let's Stir the Honeypot, followed by 2022’s Honeybee Table at the Butterfly Feast. Teen Suicide have toured with Say Anything, mewithoutYou, Museum Mouth, Elvis Depressedly and Nicole Dollanganger.
