Customers like the fit of the pants. They say that they fit very well with moderate compression, cinch in more at the waist, and fan out at the hips to flatter a curvier figure. They stay in place very well, hold all their bits in place, and are great for lounging at. However, some customers mention that the pants run small, so size up. The material is really good, and the waist band stays put. The pants are long enough to tuck under your heels for yoga, and do not slide in the waistband at all. The pocket is a nice touch, and big enough to hold a key, credit cards, and a phone.

Super severe injury avoided!

Super severe injury avoided!
Thank you Active Research Women's Compression Pants... I am reposting my story sent to family and friends...One week ago today I posted that I was going to be taking on the most challenging if not the second most challenging thing I've ever done in my life. Well the spartan race was challenging but it wasn't the number one challenging thing I've ever done in my life; climbing Cathedral Ledge still tops the list. As for the spartan race I'm excited to share that Blake earned his metals. He completed all the obstacles along with three other teammates who I am so proud of. As for me, I got my metals but a very different kind of metal. It wasn't the Spartan obstacles that got me, it was the rough muddy terrain. I slipped and lost my footing hearing a snap falling to my hands and knees I knew I was done. I broke my fibula and tibia at the ankle joint of my right leg. I stayed calm, cool & collected with a couple of (ok several) F bombs and lots of jokes to keep the mood light. While what seemed like an eternity, I put my Boy Scout skills into play by staying calm & alert and clearly giving instruction on how to splint my leg (because I wasn't moving unless they splinted my leg first). Once my leg was secure I truly put my life into the hands of strangers as I believe six or eight wonderful men and women of the medic team and some actual spartan racers carried me in the medi-basket through rough muddy terrain off the course and into the back of a pick up truck. Down the mountain into the ambulance for a ride that my EMT said in all his 30 years as an EMT had never enjoyed a ride so much. I kept him entertained and maybe even sold a few fun products. In the ER at UMass medical center university campus in Worcester Mass (a long way from home) they assessed my situation set my bones and scheduled me for surgery. I got bumped 4 times for surgery for more life-threatening injuries to others and finally on Monday afternoon I went in for a six hour surgery to insert a metal rod into the center of my tibia bone held in with two screws at the top and two screws at the bottom and a metal plate with three screws in my ankle joint; "I am Iron Man".It has been seven days since the initial injury and five days since surgery. The initial assessment is that I am 12 weeks nonweightbearing on my right foot. That means right now I'm able to use a walker to get up and move but mostly enjoying some much needed rest in bed. That also means for the next 12 weeks (no sorry six months) Life will be very different. Physically I am ready for what is now the biggest challenge I have ever faced. Mentally I am ready to take each step one at a time. My life slowed way down in an instant and this may have been just what I needed to make some mental and physical positive changes in my life. The first one "to slow down". I know I have been demanding and I really, really appreciate all the help everyone has given me in this last week. From the moment it happened José, Ashley, Amy, Lesley, Advil Guy- Woody, Spartan Medic Team, PU truck driver, EMT Dan, to all the nurses including Beth & Stephanie, doctors including all the Orthopedic dr's and Dr Segal, my surgeon, PCA's especially Juliet & Laurencia at UMass Medical Center Worcester University Campus. My roommate Nancy for being the best "friend behind the curtain", Sue, Janet, Elizabeth, & Judy; All your time spent for me can never be repaid. I know after this post goes live many more will be there too. So thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. My words may not come out nice all the time but please believe me when I say I am humbled to have so many wonderful people in my life and take no ones generosity and assistance for granted. I also want to thank Kirsten and Brian for helping keep my mental strength strong this week but most of all to my husband; you have sacrificed the most and will continue to sacrifice the most. This was not how the next 20 was supposed to start but what would our lives be like without a challenge and a good story? I Love You endlessly, forever and ever, to infinity and beyond. So, to tomorrow, tonight, to ten minutes from now and in one second "We're just getting started!"Without the layer of Active Research Women's Compression pants, compression socks & the final layer of a calf sleeve, both bones would have broken through the skin and I believe because of how far in the trail I was and the severity of the break I would have had a bleed out issue and either would be fighting a much bigger battle or maybe even lost the battle. Unfortunately, they were worn only once, cut off and I'm not sure where they rest but they did their job; they kept my leg Compressed and safe.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great leggings but waistband too tight.
Reviewed in the United States on October 4, 2019
These leggings seem like top-notch quality. They feel great on; I bought them for running and they definitely don't slip down like a lot of leggings do when running. BUT holy heck the waistband is ridiculously tight. I ordered a M; I'm 5'7" 38-29-38 and my guts were spilling out the top. Aside from how unflattering it is, the tightness was pretty uncomfortable. So alas I didn't even run in these leggings which is too bad because they seem great and I liked the way they felt on my legs. So beware if you have a tummy these might be too restrictive for ladies like us! (I show a picture of another pair of leggings I love (Eddie Bauer wide waistband size Small) to show that there ARE leggings that are flattering and comfortable out there. These just aren't quite running leggings.)
