Established in 1941 with the help of six New York artisans, the label grew under visionary founders Lillian and Miles Cahn. By 1962, Bonnie Cashin was appointed as lead designer. The current creative director, Stuart Vevers, has brought a playfulness to Coach, stating that fashion “should be about joy, about celebration”. This courageous attitude lies at the heart of the label and its philosophy to "live authentically".
