KEMBA Live!
Blue October are an alternative rock band originally from Houston, Texas. Led by brothers Justin Furstenfeld and Jeremy Furstenfeld and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Delahoussaye since their formation in 1995, Blue October has released 11 studio albums, with their latest, Spinning the Truth Around, split into three volumes unveiled between 2022 and 2024. Following initial chart success from their 2003 single “Calling You,” Blue October’s fourth album Foiled (2006) broke the band into the mainstream with back-to-back platinum-certified singles “Hate Me” and “Into the Ocean.” Foiled became the group’s first effort to chart on the Billboard 200 and kicked off a series of six consecutive Top 10 full-length releases on the Top Rock Albums chart, including No. 1 debuts for Any Man in America (2011) and Home (2016). The band has logged 13 Top 40 singles on the Alternative Airplay chart such as 2008’s “Dirt Room,” 2018’s “I Hope You’re Happy” and 2024’s “Everything We Lost In the Fire."

Great venue, would have loved to buy some merch, but the merch line was way too long.
Loved it/ Long time fan but first show/ Great Venue Danforth Music Hall/ Violin live WOW/ Sound was fantastic and Guys really nice/ They stayed after to sign Merch/ Will defo see them again
This was an amazing - AH-MAZ-ING concert! (Fillmore mixing could have done better on the board mixing the sound to highlight the talent - couldn’t hear violin in some parts, musicians were too loud and overpowered vocals in others until about 1/3 through.) By 1/3 of the way through- I could hear and see it all! They truly sounded EXACTLY like their professional albums and that is rare in this day of auto tuning. I was amazed at how Justin could maintain vocals throughout; even the high notes were on point! The percussionist is terrific as are the other musicians- I’m partial to the violin sections -they are really soulful! This is in my top 4 concerts ever! You bumped Sting out of no. 3 and that means something. 1. Phil Collins 2. Billy Joel 3. Blue October 4. Sting Keep up the awesome sound, the meaningful lyrics and we may try to see you again at the end of July. (Since my young adult kids were at university and missed it. They were so jealous their mom and older sis and dad went without them.)
best live performances hands down over and over again
I’m a frequent attendee to many shows throughout a year, and Blue October has just made my top five of all the shows thus far. Nothing over the top, just great stage presence and outstanding music. Since the moment I heard Hate Me over the air waves many years ago, I looked forward to some day seeing Blue October. Now that I have seen them live, I am already looking forward to seeing them again.
Fillmore as always was a great venue as Blue October rocked the crowd (as expected) and we got introduced to Veers, who were a pleasant surprise
3 time seeing Blue October in last year , never disappointed , They put on a great show . Will see them next time the tour for sure
This show was amazing. The entire band is so talented. Justin is full of energy, love and passion! Ryan’s violin solo was beautiful. I would have to say this was the best concert I have attended and I cannot wait for the next one! Thanks guys for an exceptional experience.
It was an extremely good concert. I got to hear, enjoy, and experience songs from the other albums I haven't heard. Justin plays to the crowd and speaks his truth that resonates with his fans. There are 2 songs that are their most popular and they played only one. I am a very eclectic music listener and I listen to all kinds of artists and have multiple favorites. I would love to be fully vested in all of their music. But I am vested in their two most popular songs and a few other not so popular. So it would have been nice to hear Calling You which resonates for me about my kids. I heard other fans afterwards commenting on the same issue I had. That was the only disappointment of the concert, but it was one that hurt, especially someone struggling with mental health issues including depression and separation anxieties from his kids.
This was my first Blue October concert and it will not be my last! I have been a fan for years but always missed them when they came to my area! This band has the BEST stage presence that I’ve ever experienced. It was fantastic and personal! I don’t have enough great things to say about this show and this band!!
