We loved our trip. The locals were friendly and the atmosphere was fun and calm. We enjoyed delicious tapas and paellas at both big and small places, with good prices. Getting around the city was easy by walking or taking a cheap taxi. Three days is enough to see everything, but families might need more time. Don’t forget to buy tickets online for La Sagrada Familia and book early for drinks or dinner at the Terrace of Sercotel Rosellón, as it gets booked up fast.
Will absolutely visit again, we had a great time 🙌

Excellent public transport. Great choice of restaurants.
Excellent public transport. Great choice of restaurants. The City Bus Tour Hop On Hop Off service was very useful for finding places and getting an idea of what was near what. Tip - if you want to go to Sagrada Familiar or Parc Guell, you need to book well in advance - we knew about the former but not the latter and found that it was fully booked for the next 2 days.

Our first trip to Barcelona was a memorable one.
Our first trip to Barcelona was a memorable one. The city exceeded our expectations. We found the city to be much more relaxed and inviting than our hometown of NYC. We stayed near the Cathedral of Barcelona so it was a good, central location for exploring the city.
The first morning we took a Gaudi themed walking tour that started at Placa Reial and ended at Sagrada Familia (must see!!). It included a couple rides on the subway and was a perfect way to get acclimated to the city.
There is so much to see in Barcelona. Take a walking tour or two if you've never been. Then get lost exploring, stopping in little places for food and drinks along the way.

Metro so easy to use, we had a 5 day travel card.
Public spaces clean. I only felt vulnerable at Las Ramblas because of the crowd's.
So much to see. Sagdra familia stunning, jaw dropping, the light and colours inside took my breath away.
Park Guell beautiful, well maintained and run. Guide very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Cassa Batllo superb, again well run. We loved the audio tape commentary.
Book these events in advance. People were so annoyed when they couldn't enter.

I LOVED BARCELONA.
I LOVED BARCELONA.
What an absolutely fantastic city full of things to do, amazing food to eat and wonderful people to make your stay even better.
The food - Oh my god. On every street is a little gem that sells the most wonderful food. TRY A CATALAN RESTAURANT!!!!
The sights - Again, amazing. La Sagrada Familia is a must - but book in advance, don't get caught out!!
The weather - We must have hit during a hot weekend, 27 degrees in April! It was PERFECT.
The cable cars - DO THEM!
I cannot wait to come back and explore more.
The hotel has so many things to offer, so to me, the price was actually cheap (taking into account that we reserved for the same day).
Sauna, pool, nice restaurant and bar. The room itself was really comfy. The bed was SIMPLY THE BEST from my whole stay in Spain. Room service and food was ok, but I would recommend to go to the restaurant since its super nice and of course they have a better menu there. The wifi was working perfectly and we didn't know but the Best Western offers a free shuttle to the airport!! what a nice suprise.
Modern, clean and well located hotel. Located slightly away from city center but has very good metro connection to all main sights. Also, has some nice restaurants around in the are and the beach is 10mins away. Hotel has a beautiful terrace with a pool with a view to the sea. Breakfast were good, quite nice options. Rooms comfortable with a nice view to Barcelona panorama. Even though some things were lacking in the rooms, our stay was very nice and we left happy . I would recommend the place.
Everything! location is absolutely perfect especially if you are travelling in Spain and have to take the train a few times. its also extremely convenient when coming from the airport. you exit the train station take the elevator up and the hotel is right there. you don’t feel the train’s because its built a few stories higher than the train station.
staff very welcoming and friendly, great desks to work in the room or in lobby. continental breakfast was delicious.
Room very clean, very quiet compared to the bustling neighborhood, good beds, slept very well there. Staff very helpful and efficient.
The hotel is practically located if you like public transport (we got in by bus from the airport, got out by train via Sants). It's also close enough to many sights in the center of Barcelona. An amazingly good range of restaurants nearby, way easier to find a good restaurant compared to some more central areas.
It was centrally located to walk to many sites such as the sea; restaurants, cathedrals and the markets. The staff were friendly and helpful as we’ve never been in Spain before. Be sure to go to Monserrat early and do a full day trip!! Ben will take you to Gaudi’s Le Sagrada Familia! The most beautiful, awe inspiring place I’ve been!! Check out the Catalan Art Museum and Olympic park as well. Barcelona is a fantastic city!!
Loved our stay at Hesperia Barri Gòtic! Alberto at the front desk was amazing during check in and gave us some extremely helpful information such as a metro map with a map of the city and the best routes to get to the main attractions in Barcelona! Room was very clean and comfortable and the hotel was close to everything! Staff was attentive and helpful, have no complaints! Would definitely stay here again! :)
We really love this hotel - it is right in the city center and easily reachable by bus and metro. It looks modern and stylish and everything is clean. People at the reception are very friendly (shoutout to Sofia). I work in a hotel so i used to check every detail and here i was totally satisfied! In case of getting back to Barcelona, i will stay here for sure!
Our first visit to Barcelona- this hotel exceeded our expectations. This well maintained facility and super friendly staff made our visit delightful.
The metro stop is right in front of the hotel. Perfect for getting anywhere in the city.
The hotel is in the center of so many shops and restaurants it’s easy to spend a day without having to go far.
Awesome location, the best one among the other H10 hotels nearby
Very kind staffs. 2 bottles of water, coffee and tea are offered daily.
Amazingly I got the unexpected birthday surprise- champagne and cake!
Breakfast was great. The best churrus and Jamon in Spain !
Thank you!! We will definitely stay at H10 Catalunya next time.
Lovely hotel away from the city centre but with easy access to all attractions by Metro. Close to a nice beach and bike paths were everywhere in this area of Barcelona. Our room was small but quiet and the beds very comfortable which was great after a long series of flights. Excellent breakfast for an additional cost.
Everything you would expect in a 4 star hotel and more in some instances. Room had a very nice view. Breakfast was nice. Ideally located near metro station- this was very convenient. City center is little over 10 minutes by metro, which sounds more than it is in actuality.
The room was very clean and the bed was extra large and comfy. The hotel is very close to the metro and bus stations which allows you to go wherever you want and also is near the city center. Very easy to arrive also from the airport (El prat).
Best choice!
The hotel and the staff is pretty good. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel in Barcelona. It is near to the Sagrada Familia and to the Glories Mall. 2-3 km away to the city center atractions and to the La Barceloneta. Thanks to all staff, especially Omar!
The hotel is in one of the best places. There is a big shopping center just on the corner. Lots of small coffees and bars nearby. Even small night shops which you can take. Not so far from the main city center. The hotel itself is luxurious.
Lovely hotel situated in heart of Barcelona. Rooms furnished appropriately to the age of the hotel. Especially liked how I could choose what type of breakfast I wanted and pay the appropriate price, indeed best breakfast I had in Spain.
The hotel is great. What I loved the most:
- the position, very calm and beautiful district of Barcelona, outside of the biggest rush but still near city center - we were moving mostly walking
- quality-price ratio
- friendly staff
The staff were very kind and helpful and gave a lot of attention and information I asked for, hotel very clean and breakfast excellent. Rate is good compared to other hotels in Barcelona. Transportation to city center are reachable
Great location in the city center near with Gothiс Quarter. Easy check-in and check-out, friendly staff, good rood terrace with park view. It looks like 4-star hotel. So, it is definitely a nice hotel to stay in Barcelona!
Clean rooms. A little too far out from Barcelona city center for the full weekend experience, the area itself does not have so much to offer. However easy to get into city center with the tram line close to the hotel.
