About

Robbie Williams In Concert

In the 1990s, he was one of Britain's premier pop bad boys, riding his time in the mega-selling Take That into a hit-studded solo career. Today, Robbie Williams is one of the world's most celebrated pop artists, having notched six albums in the Top 100 best-selling U.K. albums of all time, achieved a Guinness World Record for most concert tickets sold in a single day, and released a slew of singles — from the sweeping 1997 ballad "Angels" to the cheeky 2012 banger "Candy" — that hit No. 1 on charts around the world.

Williams first became known to pop audiences as a member of the British boy band Take That, which he joined when he was 16. His swaggering presence and soaring voice added an edge to the Take That singles on which he sang lead, including their 1992 cover of the '70s pop classic "Could It Be Magic" and their 1992 soul-pop confection "I Found Heaven." Williams and Take That toured the world to massive audiences, but the singer felt dissatisfied, and he left the group in 1995. He launched his solo career with a cover of George Michael's "Freedom '90" a year later, and his 1997 solo debut Life Thru a Lens began his long-standing collaborative relationship with songwriter and producer Guy Chambers. Together, the two wrote the massive hit "Angels," which won a special BRIT Award for Best Single of the Past 25 Years in 2005, as well as the cheeky U.K. chart-toppers "Millennium" and "Rock DJ." In 2001 Williams' duet with Nicole Kidman on the classic pop tune "Somethin' Stupid" hit No. 1, and in the years that followed, he embraced a wide variety of music that could be filed as "pop," working with electropop pioneers like Pet Shop Boys and William Orbit on 2006's Rudebox and dipping into swing on two albums, 2001's Swing When You're Winning and 2013's Swings Both Ways.

Williams rejoined Take That in 2009, touring with the group on the 2011 Progress Live tour and popping in for the occasional show in the years that followed. He's also been focusing on his solo career, releasing the strutting The Heavy Entertainment Show in 2016 and announcing his first Las Vegas residency, Robbie Williams Live in Las Vegas, which goes up at the Wynn Las Vegas' Encore Theatre in March 2019.

    Judge on America’s Got Talent

    by Blondie on 11/23/23

I first saw you when you were on America’s Got Talent as a judge. I was so impressed with you I now have a lot of your music. If you ever tour or do a Las Vegas Residency again I would definitely travel to see you. When I listen to you my heart smiles.

20 year long dream come true

    by K. B. on 12/5/21

Robbie, I’m one of your 5 Canadian fans. You are my favourite artist. Dream come true. Your voice gets better and better with age. I had great tickets, the theatre is very nice. I am so impressed with the live performance. I was planning to go back in 2020, but that didn’t happen. Thank you for your music.

    opening weekend 3/8/19

    by jerzey trash on 11/27/19

Wynn is the poshest casino in Vegas. The Shops are insane, including a McQueen and a Dior store, so definitely explore the property while you're there for the show. Encore is an intimate theater of 1,500 seats with great sound and the production is excellent. You won't see Robbie Williams perform in such a small venue anywhere else in the world. His voice is much improved since he quit smoking and he seems to focus on hitting the notes in this setting. The set list on his Take the Crown tour was more satisfying for a fan but an uninitiated listener will appreciate the familiarity of the songs in the Vegas set and the humor. It is quintessentially a Vegas show in the tradition of Wayne Newton, Elvis and Dean Martin. Would love to see more strings incorporated into the song arrangements ala Live at Royal Albert Hall.

Great View - Even in the cheap Seats!

    by Sploshy on 11/19/19

I think you will enjoy the show, regardless of the seats you manage to get. The venue is so intimate it really doesn't matter where you are you will be close up and personal. A truly entertaining performance. A mix of songs, chatting and jokes. Some people were disappointed Rob didn't do more of his big hits and did some covers, but he is a showman and this was HIS show. He did himself proud. If you're a Robbie fan and can afford to, treat yourself to a slice of Robbie and a slice of Vegas.

    Fantastic evening with a minus!

by Edit on 8/31/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

I had the VIP-tickets mit photo-option. The ticket-pickup worked perfectly. Two days before the concert I got an email with the instructions to the VIP expiration. The experience of meeting Robbie was unique!! He greeted me, hugged me, I could talk to him a little and then the photo. And because of this photo I'm still annoyed today! It was supposedly a professional photographer!? Allegedly!!? He took the pictures very quickly. He did not wait for man to stand still and took only upper body photos. An impudence! My VIP ticket was very expensive! I would have expected at least a professional photo!! I was so disappointed afterwards. This photo should be a beautiful memory for life !!!! The concert in this theater was fantastic. I sat in the second row. Being so close to the artist was special! As I said, it was a fantastic evening with a minus!

    ROBBIE IN VEGAS

by SIRGOLD on 7/20/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

Show was great but the venue considering quite a new building where concert held i could not get to my allocated seat , im in a wheelchair paraplegic so paralysed from chest down, cannot walk but able to transfer on my own to a seat BUT there is no lift access to front only if you could walk down a lot of very steep steps so had to stay in my wheelchair in another area towards back, so caused me some unnessasary embarresment to start and considering they had been fully informed of my visit that day and arranged / changed good seats for me via management earlier that day, so access is issue at venue even for able bodied the steep narrow steps was a problem for some in high heels ect , but Robbie Willliams was great. The ushers done and helped as much as they could.

We were so excited to be able to see Robbie in the US and he did not disappoint. The Vegas show had a Vegas type feel with dancers and old standards includes along with his great hits. We would definitely see him again.

    Not too shabby!

by L. on 7/10/19Encore Theater at Wynn - Las Vegas

Great performance, good venue. Started late and lasted less than two hours so a little on the stingy side for those who had travelled thousands of miles to see him. Imbalance of songs a little disappointing ..... more of the hits and less of the swing would have been better regardless of this being Vegas.
