Q: Does this TV have HDR? (I would like to know from people who purchased this TV).
A: Just bought today, freaked out because it wasn’t initially setup as HDR and my Xbox one X didn’t say it was compatible. But rest assured IT IS HDR, you just have to go into menu settings and enable UHD for whichever input your using. After that, your Xbox or any device should be able to detect it. You can follow these instructions to enable it. Settings _General __External Device Manager ___HDMI UHD Color and then check the input and you are done. I hope this helps others.
A: This smart TV must be connected to SmartThings Hub to use Alexa.
Q: Does this support the YouTube TV app?
A: Yes, the tv has a great array of apps and YouTube TV is one of them.
A: I have similar issues, in addition to others. My current belief is that Samsung used inferior quality components with a high frequency of defects in this unit. I would recommend returning it and getting something else.
Q: Once tv is connected will netflix, amazon, etc appear as apps?
A: Yes, it has an area where you can access your apps and search/download new ones.
